Thank you for your videos! I would literally hug everyone with strabismus, guys, we can do it! I know how hard it is to have crossed eye and diplopia 😢 I experienced it for 7 years since I was 27, a month ago I had my first surgery. It was soooo hard physically and emotionally 😢 but totally worth it! I finally got my binocular vision back! I hope strabismus won’t come back, even though I know that this is possible. Wishing you all to have good vision, binocular and stereopsis ❤
@@elizabethserratos5059 hi, I am feeling much better, it’s been one month after my surgery. The eye is still a bit red, I had absorbing sutures, some fell off, some I still can see but it doesn’t bother me much. I am happy with the results so far, I don’t have diplopia and this is such a relief 🥲 first assessment of the results should be in a few weeks. Good luck with your surgery 🫶🏼
I see 1and a 1/2 of things When born my eyes ( inherited from my Dad's side of family) crossed inward to the nose I had a bit of difficulty walking because of this however my parents stated it was comparatively normal ( they had 6 kids total I'm eldest) After a Dr operated on my eyes only one was straightened and I'm left with seeing one and a half of things I used to teach piano and did win a few awards for art work as well But it all took some practice especially the art Thank you so much for the information nice to be with people well sort of at least like me?
Sounds like you have been struggling with double vision for years. What do you want to do next? Have you considered vision therapy or another surgery? Check out learn.strabismussolutions.com for some resources that could help.
You probably could get another surgery, but if the past ones haven't worked, you may have more success with vision therapy so that your brain can use your eyes together. Find an office at strabismussolutions.com/findvt/

How do you feel so far, I’m seeing my ophthalmologist soon so I can move forward on scheduling my strabismus surgery.

Did you made the surgery under general anesthesia?
