Can I ask what you used for the clean animation/knitting pattern portion? had an idea to do something like this and you're the first I've found that's done it!! Super well done!!!
Of course! For this piece I did the rough/clean animation entirely using the timeline in photoshop, but really you could do the same thing in any software that has tools for animation. For example when I was going through the same process for the animated sweater I made, I used Procreate on the ipad (and I found their tools a lot easier to use haha.) I haven't used these for an animation before personally, but there are also free sites online where you can design your own colourwork knitting charts. It would just be more difficult as I don't think you'd be able to underlay the rough animation to use as a guide for the clean chart. Hope that helps! :)
