- With redfish in the (currently murky) Tampa Bay in mind, I packed this fly full of attractors. While this fly may make a permit nervous, it will hopefully ring the dinner bell for some of the big reds in my neck of the woods! 💙 Materials and tools are listed and linked below!

Are there crabs in the Ozarks? That's probably the reason for the difference.
@-norsecode- Not really though Missouri Department of Conservation found Blue Crabs all the way up here in the Mississippi River. Again.

@-norsecode- Great question. They have theories, but no one knows for sure. They found them in fish surveys done in 04, 15, and 24.

Amszng! And WOW!. Back when such materials were not available, so it is nice too see how they can be used. For tears I never sed a bobbin. I used a modified wooden clothespin.
That's wild!!! I think I'd rather give up the vise than the bobbin!!
You should have seen a man by the name of Lee Wulff tie his famous Gray Wolf fly without a vice or bobbin! Amazing! Mr. Wulff was a big man with big hands. It was treat to watch the process.
Have i ever gone fly fishing? No.
Do I plan on ever going and trying? Also no.

I love tying saltwater patterns, but when you live 8-10 hours from any descent saltwater flyfishing, you have to settle with trying your creations on trout and smallies.

Excellent question! I tie in the evenings and have a full time job. There just hasn’t been enough time to create the content to the level I want and also produce flies for sale so they’re typically one of a kind flies. I hadn’t found a good way to sell them yet, but I believe I’m going to start here shortly. 😊
@@shetiesflies Word I feel you.. the quality of your work is amazing I believe it won’t hurt to charge a little more for your flies.. just an ideal if you make a small quantity say 10 & price them at $20 or more I’m sure they would sale out.
