The Goertzen is superior in tone.. can't see the instrument in its totality. The strings on the second mandolin look way beyond their prime. I prefer fully fretted mandolins, no abbreviations or "scoops" Just my thing.
Gibson's mandos start at $6000. $4800 CAD is a good price for a fully carved F-style made by one dude. You spend the time learning how to make an F-style and see how much you wanna charge for it-- a luthier still needs to eat.
As I understand it, the Acoustic Shoppe in Springfield, Missouri is often looking for mandolins to sell, FYI
It appears to be well made and sounds great and you are a talented player, thanks!
The modern darker sound is cool but this woody bright sound is where its at!!
Great looking instrument, awesome sound and, knowing Jeremy, well worth the price.
Sweet. Excellent sound and build.
Beautiful tones & looks, excellent
That's awesome
WOW!
Ohhh yeah!
She’s a beauty !🐾🇩🇰❤
Thanks
Did anybody ever build an F5 mandolin with four or five inches deep body, like a guitar? How would it sound?
A body that deep would lend itself more more nicely to an octave mandolin. Perhaps a larger soundboard area too….
don't see any link where I can get one

That's actually really cheap in the luthier made mandolin world
