A little surprised the private island at SRB didn't get a mention, we loved it there. Great informative film one of the most helpful Sandals films we've seen, thank you.
Please do a video giving prices. Thanks Your video of the 5 most economical resorts answered my question. I liked your husbands interaction with the cat and his display of turkish / leboniess food took me back to 2008 when my wife and I lived in coburg melbourne where we ckuld get halal pizza doner kebabs etc. The only things he didnt show were the yoguurt dips and the feta cheese and spinach filled pie that I enjoyed at the palasinian coffee shop.
Super excited to see your next video back in Negril! My wife and I have been strongly considering the 1SKY room. We are very interested to hear your thoughts on whether it's worth the price.
Great video. We have SEB booked for Nov, but now they shut down(4 other Sandals and 1 Beachs , booked thru loyalty desk onsite). video helped research dunns river and Curacao. Call Sandals today to move the dates and change resort and told no butler rooms available around same category and only offered to move down to club level.
Have been to the Grande St. Lucian last year. Now considering Grenada or Antigua. How do they compare to the Grande? Great beach, shade on the beach, superior food, mid size, safe island overall are priorities. Also any other non-Sandals all inclusives on St. Lucia that are at least as nice as the Grande?
Hi!!! Just a note to say I had absolutely no problem getting beach chairs on the royal Barbados side. There were so many surprisingly during Crop Over season. lol. Thinking it depends on the season/timing. 😊
Unfortunately Butch passed away. Grenada was our personal get away. Prior to the hurricane it was not up to Par. The staffing is always extraordinary. There were 2 ambassador's on grounds at the time. They agreed. We have many local friends. Will be at Margaritaville in Puerto Rico's beachfront resort this trip. Maybe next time.
I really enjoyed this video. Ive been to most of the resorts too and what I think Sandals do so well is the unique character, style, design and facilities of each one. No two are the same and whilst they are all "Sandals" the differences make each a new experience. As ever things like this are always subjective as it all depends what you look for however I thin our tastes pretty much match up and so it was really good to hear your thoughts. Off to Curacao in February then probably back to Grenada for our 6th time and St Vincent after that. I like how they are rolling out the new restaurant concepts and making each resort even more unique. (looking forward to Curacao although getting there from the UK isn't as direct or easy as all the others!!)
@@HoneymoonAlways Of course. Well report back!! BTW- we like to stay in the rooms with the big balconies and private pools - BUT!! - the pools are cold! hahaha. So in Barbados we chose the room on the 2nd floor that has no pool but a huge balcony. Its great. Weve mentioned to Mr Fraser at Grenada that the pools are chilly and they promise some pool heating - after 5 visits..........????
Thanks for this! As a new subscriber, I really like your channel and the great vibe the two of you have! We've been to almost all the Sandals and we're booked for St.Vincent in December. I'd love to hear more about the reno's at Sandals Antigua. Any inside info that you can share?
@@HoneymoonAlwaysthat’s interesting because my wife and I are debating between Antigua, ochi, and curaçao for next just and have no clue which one to pick but the Reno of Antigua has me off put as we don’t want to be there during renovations
How much did it cost to get scuba-certified? And how much are individual excursions? I saw that scuba and gear were included but it seems like there would be an upcharge somewhere. I would also be interested in the experience with local cuisine being brought back to you, what was that one?
We love St. Lucia and stayed at the Grande last year. (and La Toc about 20 years ago) Considering a return to St. Lucia Grande but St. Vincent looks very appealing. Major differences between the two?
Lets say you win an 8 day trip to Sandals but it has to be one of these!? Obviously can only pick 1! Which one you pick???? Not saying pros and cons, but just overall pick??? Royal Barbados Grenada Antigua Thanks!😎
@@HoneymoonAlways awesome thanks!! My wife and i are wanting to go next year! We went to Sandals La Toc for our honeymoon, looooooong time ago🤣 and wanted to do Sandals again and was stuck between those 3!
Hi- you mention eating outside the resort. Can you explain that process more? I’m a foodie but always nervous about getting ill because it hard to which places are safe zones when you’re a tourist. This would be so helpful .
What is the Immigration and Customs like at the Ian Fleming Airport compared to MBJ? Is it worth being closer to the resort (Dunn's River) but not having Club Mobay?
My fiancee and I are thinking about going to St. Vincent next June for our honeymoon (7 days, 6 nights). Do you think it is worth the extra $2000 for a swim up suite? Or is it easy enough to find chairs at the pools?
Whilst its not a Sandals I think the best diving (Im a PADI Divemsater) is at Beaches Turks and Caicos. For a Sandals resort my best experiences are split into two - to go from the resort itself I would choose Grand St Lucian as they have their own jetty and there are many dive sites around St Lucia - and for some of the best diving choose Royal Bahamian. They have a short van ride to the dive centre but some of the diving there is amazing - plenty of sharks and the James Bond Vulcan Bomber!!!
Thanks Mark! I only went diving a few times and struggle with equalizing due to scaring in my ear. I can do it but it takes a long time. I’m going to Royal Bahamian and T&C soon though so I might have to do some dives!
@@HoneymoonAlways Yes equalising is obviously a key thing but one of the things Sandals is very good at is being super careful. And Ive dived with people who struggle so we just take time to get you down. Sandals doesn't dive to maximums either so you wont have as many equalisations to do. T&C has a reef which is very shallow resort side and then drops off on the ocean side so you can dive in really shallow water and see loads including sharks!!! Just have a chat with the Dive team and they will take care of you.
Going to Sandals Negril in August. Anything we should know about this resort. I've seen both good and really bad reviews about the service and food. Hate to spend all of this money for a bad experience.
We didn’t include it since it is a Beaches family friendly resort, but we love it there! Happy to help you find the best match for you if you want to email us at info@honeymoonalways.com
would NEVER go back to Negril.. Its a complete SHITHOLE trainwreck outside the resort.. You are only there for the Hotel. NOTHING else to see. So much crime and EXTREME poverty. Avoid this falling apart 2005 resort
@@HoneymoonAlways We just got back from there a couple of weeks ago. We enjoyed it very much, but I will say they are lacking on maintenance. Several issues with our rooms (had to be moved once because of leaking ceiling). Food not so good at Bayside, but good at other places. Beach great, entertainment great. A few loyalty staff not so friendly. We just hated the drive there so much plus the maintenance issues that we probably won't go back.

So many great resorts to choose from! Can’t wait to go back once the hurricanes get out of there!
Fantastic review. Look forward to hearing about your next Sandals visits!
Please add the date when you guys travel. It helps us to see what weather is like at the time of year. Thank you
Great suggestion, thank you! Feel free to reach out if you want to know about specific dates.

Hello. I’m going to Sandals Barbados end of August. How was it there ?
It was great, a beautiful beach and plenty of pools and restaurants

It was just under $400. The programs where you go to local restaurants are at Curacao and Royal Bahamian
we have the Longbeach swim up booked but thinking of switching to Dunns river any thoughts
We would change, but also love a swim up suite anywhere :)
Do you both have the sandals credit card. Is it worth it?

Royal Barbados

A couple resorts will take you off-property to eat for a few of the top suites. Not sure what you mean by safe zones.
Sandals Regency La Toc is amazing but it needs updates really bad…it’s gorgeous though
We just met!!! Love your channel!!! 👏

id love to hear what rooms at dunns river let you enjoy complimentary meals off premises please! thanks!

Yes! The airport is very small so customs is not a big issue.

Chairs when I was there.

There is no really bad experience at any Sandals. They have a special culture to uphold. I guess the odd person could be just having a bad Day.

Barbados beach is AWFUL. Seaweed in and out of water. Tractor and dump truck 7a-2p everyday clearing the mess. Been to 11... THE BY FAR WORST.
Wow, that wasn’t the case when we were there, what time of year were you there?
Depending on time you go and what beach you go to. You can find many without!!!!
We went in January and it was perfect. No sargasso, perfect weather
Barbados had one of the BEST beaches I’ve ever been to. No seaweed at all. No matter the time of day it was always crystal clear.
Swimming with pig is this a joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Oh my... swimming with pigs at some of the islands has been going on for decades
