I used to watch you guys when you were in Portugal and I saw someone mention you guys in the comments section of Expats Everywhere. I just checked in & saw that you are in my birthplace. I am a Vincentian, and I moved to Canada some 50 plus years ago. It’s good to see St. Vincent from the perspective of a TH-camr.
SVG is an unspoiled paradise unlike the rest of the Caribbean Islands , the waters are Cristal clear that you could literally see the bottom of the ocean and I can wait to visit .. It's Gorgeous .❤
Thank you VERY much for your video, very helpful. Ill be booking our next trip while we are onsite at Samdals Grenada and am very much considering St Vincent. If I may please, what was the categorization of the room you ended up staying in? We like to stay butler level but am concerned at the level of privacy of the patios at the villas. Also, I understand some of the butler villas have a "pond" view and others back up against a stream of some sort and wanted to get your opinion. We may just stay concierge just for the view from the larger buildings, especially the one closest to the beach. Thanks again, love your videos 😊.
Me and my wife got married at sandals south coast. We stayed in the bungalows during our stay. For our anniversary we are thinking of coming to St Vincent in may. Couple questions, is the water a nice clear blue? I know its a volcanic area and not a bahamas crystal blue but from videos i cant really tell how the color is? Also can you take the boat ride if you pay? Or do you have to take the shuttle? Other sandals if you pay you can take certain vehicles instead of shuttle.. thanks, any other good information will be great if this is the best pick.
Hello! Yes, the water is a beautiful clear blue. As of now only butler guest can take the boat and there isn’t an option to pay if you are not in a butler suite. Questions.. do you know when Sandals Antigua will do their renovations? Also do you know when Sandals Emerald Bay will be completed and turned into a Beaches? Thanks so much. I am new to your channel and loving your reviews
@@HoneymoonAlways Yes - we were celebrating our anniversary, and the butlers went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Regarding the resort - our room was huge, the infinity pools by the beach were wonderful, and the sunsets were amazing.
@dougkeating4335 that sounds wonderful! As you can tell from the video I loved the resort, but when I was there I didn’t have enough down time to really enjoy the pool and take in the location enough, so we’re going back in November!
Correct, you can order as much as you want or eat at multiple restaurants for dinner. The portions are on the smaller side every where but the steakhouse which we love since you try more things.
The dogs! I saw them peeing on lounge chairs with beach towels that guest were using, pooping on the landscaping near outdoor restaurants, begging for food, and jumping onto outdoor lounge seating to lay down. You shouldn’t expect that at any resort. I’m a dog owner and love them, but don’t want them on an expensive vacation.
@@lotus9259 When paying 10k for a weeks Sandals vacation, you don’t expect to have stray dogs pooping in front of you as you eat at an outdoor restaurant. My opinion and most likely the opinion of many others.
@@lotus9259 I disagree, this is the ideal platform to share that perspective and inform others who might be considering a stay at this resort. Personally, I would be uncomfortable with dogs roaming freely at a resort where I've invested my hard-earned money for a getaway.
We have seen a full spectrum of responses about the dogs. Some people love them and see it as a bonus (like us) and some people would choose not to come. I think most people don't really care too much. Were excited to go back in a few weeks!

Will we see you in Portugal sometime?
Thanks for coming, and come again!

Great review - we're booked for March 2025. Cannot wait for the trip!! We prefer the dogs than all of the cats at the various Sandals.
Thank you! Hope you have a great time!

We just returned from this resort. Agree with you it is awesome. We hope to return soon.
So glad you had a good time! We’re excited to go back too. Was there a highlight of the trip for you?

I love St Vincent
When was this video made, before or after hurricane Beryl in July?
This was before the hurricane, but things on resort are back to normal now from what we understand. We’ll be back there in October.
congrats
Is it all you can eat? you dont have to pay extra if you want more food correct?

Thanks. How much is a one week stay at st Vincent most affordable price?
They start around 5k and go up from there
Thank you. is it easy to get approved by the resort to be solo?
I haven’t helped any clients with Saint Vincent yet, want me to ask the manager for you?
Actually I just reached out and it’s not possible if part of a group.
Ok, will look for a friend to bring.

The same way you let your dogs pee and poop on your streets.
