    I purchased a 2023 Turbo Levo Comp Carbon, essentially the same exact bicycle, lighter weight about 2 pounds. I’ve had it a week, love it. I’m 59yo, been an avid mountain bike rider 30+ years. Thanks for the vid. I actually own a bicycle store, my brakes required bleeding straight out of the box and proper brake pad beading before the brakes were perfect.
    Suspension setting is simple, use the o rings that come on rear shock and fork to see how much travel you used by the end of your ride. I normally setup so the rider is using between 90 and 98% of total suspension travel. Closer to 90% total travel if I find too much nose diving under front brake use at 95-98% suspension travel setup. Test travel with fast rebound setting. Once you land on the correct air pressure I close the rebound all the way and start speeding rebound rate one click at a time till the rebound rate is fast enough to respond to a sequence of bumps without packing up or bouncing. Lastly, ride the bike around standing on the pedals and pushing down on front and rear suspension. The idea is that the front and rear compression and rebound feel as identical as possible front and rear. Don’t be afraid of experimenting till it is too soft, you can always start going back up every 5psi till you find your ideal suspension setup.

    My experience is identical! Meaning I bought the same exact bike, color and one month ago to the day. I mirror all those emotions, ask why this took so long, find it the best alternative to my dirt bike. Perhaps better as I can hit the trails in min rather than driving an hour to get anywhere to ride MX / trails legally. Money well spent and so much more potential. I am sure one months riding I don't have it all figured so the fun factor is gonna go up.

    Great video. Best I’ve seen in a while and I have seen them all. Literally. Of course the fact that I just got the exact same bike (even in the blue) does make me a bit bias. Like you I love the bike. I esp like your commentary while you are riding. It adds so much to the video. Great camera angle too. I hope you will do more. Thks for an excellent video.

    Hey man thanks the upload. You sold it to me when you said about getting 3 runs in for every 1 on an analogue bike.
    Ill be going for the 2033 comp alloy olive green alloy

    My only regret as well was not buying one sooner! Kept telling myself I wasn't old enough (I'm 60)...

    I got the turbo levo comp alloy as well. I find the brakes feel a little too weak for the eBike. I might need to get a upgrade as well!

    Great vid! How's the bike three months in? Were the brakes okay in the end?

    Im impressed how quiet overall these bikes are on the trail. If you had silent hubs, youd be ninja like. This bike will be mine one day...

    Cool vid! I'm 6'2" so about the same height as you. I usually ride XL bikes but thinking of getting a large Levo for a more playful ride. Do you ever feel cramped on the S4?

    • @vettetr8857
      @vettetr8857 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am same height as you and felt the reach was to short/cramped on the S4. I went with the S 5 feels perfect. Depends mostly on the reach you want.

    • @norcalchrismeister
      @norcalchrismeister ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vettetr8857 Yeah I ride an XL Epic Evo and like the long reach. Which Levo do you ride? I'd like to try one of their carbon models.

    • @bwhaskell
      @bwhaskell  ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly the S4 feels perfect for me. Maybe the only time it feels cramped is on the super tight, low speed hairpin turns where your bars are basically turned 60+ degrees one way. Other than that, i really like how playful the bike feels and i can jump it very easily etc.

      Great review, S5 will be my choice, I'm in the same height and made a test ride on S4 and later on I rode S5, for me S5 without any hesitation, it's still playful. This bike is a beast, it's a bike that helps you feel a better rider

    Hello, can you tell me what pressure you have on the rear shock and the rebound clicks and how much do you weigh? I can't make it smooth

    • @bwhaskell
      @bwhaskell  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Im 185lbs. I put a .6 + .1 volume spacer in the shock and run 200psi. Rebound setting varies by terrain in riding but typically i run it 4-6 clicks out from all the way in

      Your video trasmits so much positive energy 🤙🏼and brings it to the point …. No matter what gear you have …. In any sport…. It s all about fun and positve vibe !
      You have definitly convinced me to buy a turbo levo comp alloy !
      Cannot afford any more expencive bike and was a bit worried about the components ( brakes & fork) that may be on other brands is a bit on a higher end spectrum ;
      Would you see in your eyes any immediate necessary upgrade to invest or are you leaving for now the bike as it is?
      Thanks so much …. Happy to see some other videos of you ….
      And by the way …. You re riding great
      Hang loose from Italy 🤙🏼
