I have never seen these types of cockroaches,honestly....are these species rare to find?

they're loctus, not roaches. Specifically migratory loctus, you can see their scientific name on their shipping container in the video.
They are native to Asia, Afirca, Australia, and New Zealand and are extremely common in those areas. They used to live in Europe but are rare there.
If you are north/south american you would never have seen them, and its possible to be european and to have never seen them
