Here's my example: Deck 1 is sync'd to deck 2. Yet deck 1 is playing at, say, a 15% slower tempo than it's original tempo. To get deck 1 back to it's original tempo, I used to adjust deck 1's tempo. And there appeared a kind of ghosted or shadow indicator that I could move until it hit the current tempo. And I would adjust from there. Now, that helpful ghosted or shadow indicator is gone. How do I get it back? Thanks!

Why do you turn the HPF/LPF knob clockwise instead of turning down the bass while mixing? I thought that turning down the bass of the incoming tune was the way to go? (newbie question, sorry)

I normally use my bass knobs when I transition also (kinda turn one up while turning the other down simultaneously), but using the filter knobs also achieve this plus it provides for a more dynamic sound to your mix. Try mixing in an acapella intro to an already playing beat and go LPF on that beat until you mix it out or the beat of the incoming song begins. Tell me what you think.

Yes, Tha Rukkus is right. I will also use the bass knobs a lot too, depending on the type of transition I am going for. Both essentially accomplish the same goal of cutting out the bass, which means that the low frequencies from the one track won't interfere with the low frequencies of the other track. Not a newbie question at all :)

I use Serato DJ Pro (and will also begin using Rekordbox DJ) with both turntables and controllers. Currently my turntable setup is in storage so I can't find this out for myself, but can this be done with turntables, or even turntable controllers like the Rane 12, or does the "analog" nature of this format prevent this?

That's a great question. I do this transition in rekordbox all of the time, but with my DDJ-1000. I think if you are using DVS this still would work because the software is controlling the track. Not sure if it will work if you are using this with turntables only...

Hi @TimmyGOfficial the default BPM limit is too low for the kind of music I'm playing (hardstyle). I'm trying to increase the BPM by clicking on the 'tab' icon - it does increase the digits but not the actual speed of the song. Is there any way to increase/reduce the BPM beyond the default configuration?
