We the Belizean people are very great full of having the Mennonites in this Beautiful Country. And we hope they continue to prosper in the future.

Both part 1 and 2 Is very interesting since I too have the same background but can never find something as educational and honest on TH-cam or anything else I've searched for before. This video makes me proud of my background!

Great video. Great to have some knowledge about these people live and to know how they came here. I did like Part 1. I forget to give it a like,

Sounds like fun. Maybe I will bring my family. Is is hard to immigrate to Spanish Lookout from Canada? How much do houses cost?

Very interesting indeed. I wanted to meet the traditional mennonites when i was in Belize but I had no way of getting to them as did not have an offroader. I met one chap on the bus though who was originally from the US and he was lovely.

I have lived here since 2011 and you have been able to get to Spanish Lookout on paved roads since before then. You can even catch a bus there though that goes the long way round over dirt roads.

I wish the founding fathers of America said the Churches will always be in charge of education. im going to move and retire there and get to know some wonderful Mennonites and serve God with them.

" My deadbeat Mennonite father, squandered all the family's savings on booze and hookers". Words never spoken within a Mennonite colony.

Its not as nice and rosy as they make it sound like, my wife has cousins there and they are having a very hard time, one month after one of my wife's cousins visited us in Canada he was murdered in his own home, the police there still say they will likely never be able to solve it!

Wow how to destroy another piece of nature to build unsustainable agriculture! Let's do the same as we did everywhere in the world... Shame on it. As the old women said :"Let's find a way to make quick money" That's saying everything.
