    What level will a newly qualified accountant be promoted to after passing the qualifying exam in ACCA as a trainee?

    • @FehzanMehdi
      @FehzanMehdi  ปีที่แล้ว

      Once you’ve passed your final exam and typically submitted your application for membership you can expect promotion to Audit Senior and Assistant Manager.

    Salam, just a revision tip question; Would you say that is better to do exam questions without looking at the notes or go through the notes and then do the question?

    • @FehzanMehdi
      @FehzanMehdi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wa alaykum as Salam go through the notes then do question practice - got to have some knowledge before doing questions

      @@FehzanMehdi Alright. Becuase I struggle to memorise stuff and spend hours and hours on the notes, then to actually forget some of the info. How many hours would you say is ideal to spend on notes and on questions? Would you say is ideal to have a 50/50 split or spend more on questions? Cheers!

    • @FehzanMehdi
      @FehzanMehdi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No deffo spend a lot of time on question practice - 60/40 I’d say - but when I say go through the notes first that doesn’t have to be all the notes split time between studying and then going through question practice. Do it chapter by chapter.

    Thanks alot for making amazing videos .................i am an ACCA qualified by exam only and there are very few firms which offer ACCA graduate program almost every big firm offers ACA graduate program.......do u think i should apply for ACA graduate program in top firms to get experience ?
    i only have to sit for 3 last exams of ACA and 3yrs exp to get ACA qualification will firm reject me by saying oh no we cant hire you because we only hire candidates who will study whole ACA qualification?

    • @FehzanMehdi
      @FehzanMehdi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends some firms may but it’s still worth applying - I’m guessing you’re doing this for the experience? Is it not possible for you to get 3 years of experience in a smaller firm and you can avoid having to do the ACA? I say this because acca and ACA are similar qualifications

    • @mmmjim6607

      @@FehzanMehdi yes bro you are right i myself dont want to do ACA just because ACCA and ACA are very much similar.
      and i only to do this training in firm to become acca member ...but the thing is i am international student at BPP studying msc accounting and finance and i need sponsorship (work visa ) from firm to start working and these days only top 10 firms give sponsorship and only for ACA qualification.

    • @FehzanMehdi
      @FehzanMehdi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well you decide before you apply in year 13 and you decide by doing research, attending work experience /events, networking speaking to people to get the best possible idea of the role

    When is the best time to leave the practice ? ( Right after getting qualified ? ,A few years after getting qualified or just staying in the practice forever)
