See and reveal the amazing scenery of Mirror of the World " Famous landmarks of America and Europe " in Bohol.
1.] Golden Gate Bridge - is a a majestic suspension bridge that spans the Golden Gate, a one-mile-wide strait connecting San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean.
2.] Windmills - are probably one of the most recognizable symbols of Netherlands, and rightfully so! The first Dutch windmill was built in the year 1221, right in the middle of the Middle Ages. The oldest intact windmill in the Netherlands is the "Grafelijke Korenmolen" in Zeddam , which was built in 1441. The first European windmill was built in Belgium in 1040. Windmills were originally used to grind grains.
3.] Japanese Koi - also known as nishikigoi in Japanese, are colorful varieties of the common carp (Cyprinus carpio). Koi fish have a rich history that dates back 19th- century Japan. There are many ornamentals koi varieties, originating from breeding efforts that began in Nîgata, Japan. Some major koi colors include white, black, red, orange, yellow, blue, brown and cream. Additionally, metallic shades like gold and silver-white (platinum) scales are popular. The most well-known category of koi is the Gosanke, which comprises the following varieties: Kohaku(White with red markings), Taisho Sanshoku (White with red and black markings), & Showa Sanshoku (Black with red and white markings). As a result, koi are symbols of love and friendships in Japan. Colored ornamental carp were originally referred to as Irokoi(colored carp), Hanakoi(floral carp)and Moyokoi(patterned carp). Koi are not only seen in aquarium but also abound in Shrines, Japanese gardens and private home ponds.
4.] Manneken Pis - which means "Little Pissing Man" in Dutch, is a landmark bronze fountain sculpture located in central Brussels, Belgium.
Mirror of the World and Botanical Garden is a captivating theme park located in Sikatuna, Bohol, Philippines. Let’s explore this unique attraction:
Concept and Purpose:
The park was established by Jan Yngvar Kolstø and Ann Dulogan Kolstø with the intention of sharing their international travel experiences and promoting tourism in Sikatuna.
It opened in late 2018 and continues to evolve with new additions.
Replicas of Famous Landmarks:
Mirror of the World features fascinating replicas of iconic landmarks from around the globe. Visitors can marvel at these structures without leaving Bohol.

Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janeiro)
Eiffel Tower (Paris)
Golden Gate Bridge (California)
Merlion (Singapore)
Statue of Liberty (New York)
Phases of Development:
The park unfolds in separate phases, each introducing new landmarks:
Phase 1 (opened in late 2018):
Featured replicas of the landmarks mentioned above.
Phase 2 (upcoming):
Will showcase the Dutch Windmills of the Netherlands and the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota.
Phase 3 (future):
Will bring Europe’s beautiful castles and chateaux, along with historic Japanese pagodas.
Phase 4 (anticipated):
Will present replicas of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, London’s Big Ben, and the Petronas Twin Towers of Malaysia.
The entire project is expected to be completed by 2023-2024.
Visiting Tips:
Best Time to Visit: Consider touring the park in the early morning for crisp air or during late afternoon hours for milder temperatures and the chance to appreciate the park at night.
Entrance Fee: The best time to enter is around 5 PM, allowing you to pay the daytime entrance fee and also enjoy the fantastic nighttime view of the park.
