What are the odds of you a couple of foreigners being in an old ancestral house in the middle of nowhere in the pouring rain, then a couple of bats fly in and some ornaments start moving on their own... throw in a howling dog in the background and some thunder and lightning you got yourselves a good horror movie right there... 😁
I have these voices of those bats in my head... Bat 1: Natasha, tonight we dine WITH our guests... Bat 2: I take the Irish guy and you take the Canadian one, Vlad. Bat 1: Wonderful! And let's have the Filipino they call Kumar for dessert... start flying around and let's scare the heck out of them... (All in Transylvanian voices) Hahahaha 😂

exactly....7 rooms represent the 7 tribes of bukidnon... and oh ..the chandelier was not electric during 1910...,candles were used to light it up....the 3rd floor and 4th floor of the house is a library....and the 5th,if there is,is a place where in,during the war,machine guns were being fired...it's like the watch tower....so cool..

You'll see the actual houses, its streets in Spanish era, some are replica, but some houses there are preserved. You'll see how the Philippines look like back in the time when we're under Spanish colony.. PLEASE! PLEASE! You can bring Daniel too! They have videos too here on youtube, check it out! 😊
We used to have an ancestral house like that in Ilocos located along the national highway at center of Candon. Grand staircase, capiz ventanas, high ceilings and doors with ivory knobs. But unfortunately, the oldies decided to sell it... memories of childhood...
Bats were also a common problem in our old house. Ancestral houses have holes in the ceiling for ventilation and they sometimes get in. It can be "fun" running around with a blanket trying to catch them and release them outside.
