- 👋 We love owning the 2024 Audi RS3 alongside my manual transmission MK5 Toyota Supra! So in todays video lets compare how the new 8Y Audi RS3 stacks up to the Supra! While my Supra is at the dealer for some routine maintenance, we have a 2024 automatic Supra as a press car for the week! Given the RS3 only has one transmission available, I figured this would be the perfect time to compare the Supra to the RS3! These cars are similar in price. A 2024 Supra Premium is about $60k, and our RS3 was $65k. Each car also has a unique engine both being inline single turbo motors. We have the 5 cylinder on the RS4 and the 6 cylinder on the Supra. Very difference cars being a 4 door vs 2 door. So for my wife and I, these two make a great duo. We have the very practical RS3 with extra luxury refinements and technology. Wicked fast launch control and an incredibly unique exhaust tone. The Supra gives us a more tight handling experience with agility and fantastic steering. Both cars seem about the same in acceleration just the RWD Supra lets you get the tail end out a bit and have some of that drifting fun. RS3 does not break traction which makes it more fun in inclement weather. So if you are looking for a fun sports car in the $60k range, the Supra and RS3 are both fantastic in different ways. They certainly compliment each other very well and make a great his and hers garage combo! The manual Supra does add that fun factor of rowing through gears and I like that combo even better then having two automatics. But each car is great for their own uses!

B58 definitely sounds good, but with your experience, would you say the RS3 sounds a lot better from inside the car?
Yeah RS3 sounds more character filled from inside. Not sure if some of its through the speakers. But it's got more tone in person. B58 starts sounding amazing with an exhaust
Can you somehow mod the Audi steering? With fluid? Steering motor? Computer trick?
Working on it. Some handling mod videos coming very soon! But I’ve also heard swaybars help a ton!

Yeah that's a cool option! Much softer of a car then a Supra tho. So depends if you want more of a sportscar with nimble handling or more of a blend between a normal sedan and sportscar.

Great video! Do you plan on running the two cars against eachother in a roll to see how they stack up performance wise?
Maybe. But really not worth the risk on the legal side. We've done enough of that without getting in trouble. But since mine is a manual any drag race would be pointless since the RS3 launch control is probably 2 seconds quicker than me. But maybe if we are on the highway together a small pull
Yeah I wonder if the top end of the supra is better. Seems to be on paper.

Would you say their the same level of fun? How’s the body roll and steering on the rs. And is the backseats spacious enough for short trips
I'd say they are about the same level of car. The Supra steers a lot better tho and is more fun in the turns. RS doesn't have any body roll. It just steers a bit odd with the FWD biased system and the wider front wheels. RS is definite faster in a line too with the AWD. I fit in the back seat comfortably. Especially sitting behind my wife's driver seat setting. So it's not bad

an older used GTR, sorry but tried the supra and its too tail happy when i really want to get on it, and if i go big power i fear its handling
Lots of people like the tail happy nature. But I loved my 2014 GTR. Amazing car. RS3 is starting to fill that void tho with the mods I've now installed on it
@@BrosFOURRSpeed researched about it but some car engineer said to use 20" wheels with mp4s 275/30/20" front and 295/30/20" rears helped stabilize the supra.
@@charles-fq2dw I don’t think the wheel size would make much difference. But the wider tires I’m sure would help it stay planted. Still a Rwd car tho. It’ll always have a different dynamic then an AWD car

@@IxRewindIx It’s definitely quick! Always has traction and just keeps going! The mods I’ve done so far have really livened up the car too
The rs3 is a bit of an oddity, with wider tires in the front than the back.

GTI is pretty basic to behest. Supra is way more fun
