I've been seeing heat pumps on more houses in Winnipeg over the last few years. I haven't bothered to find information on this innovation on my own, so it was great to get this explanation from you guys. Thank you!

Very informative video. I knew that heat pumps were becoming more common, but I had no idea that they offered so many attractive opportunities. I'll definitely be looking into this for a property in the future...

I heard in Sweden heat pumps are a common choice for residential heating. Effective even in cold climates. It's nice to learn more about it!

I used to work for HVAC company and heat pump ROI was always within 1 year so it was really easy to convince people to use it for sustainability, moreover we were also designing heat pump system in such a way that we can use them for heating the water, HVAC and other processes in manufacturing utility, over all great information and awesome video.

When i was in vancouver last summer, it felt like everyone was talking about these "heat pumps". I did some research but this was a very informative video.

Heat pumps contributing to sustainable living is informative. Energy-efficient solutions like heat pumps should be promoted more in homes and buildings. With more R&D, the cost might be relatively lower in the future.

I especially like this technology overview because I was wondering how the heat pumps from air conditioners make the climate warmer, and therefore requires more air conditioner usage in hotter areas so it's like a never ending cycle. Really 'cool' stuff!

The recent innovations in heat pump technology and how these systems use mechanical work to transfer heat from one location to another is much like a reverse air conditioner. The efficiency and versatility of air source and ground source (geothermal) heat pumps and their ability to achieve efficiency well over 100% can significantly reduce energy bills compared to traditional heating methods, despite the higher initial installation costs.

Interesting tech for sure. I guess in climates like MB we see geothermal sometimes but not really any air source.

Lot's of air source heat pumps in MB. We have a couple at our cottage and they work great and save on our electrical bill. There is heat energy in the air until absolute zero (-273C). Most heat pumps can operate until around -20C.

In India, we use a Heat pump for water heating. We installed one in our home back in india and since then our water heating bill has reduced by 70%.
