I liked how you connected the innovations at Real Canadian Superstore to the bigger picture of how consumer habits are changing. That's a great point.

Great video, my family ordered groceries online several times during COVID. The experience was very easy and convenient! - Mike Sukkau

An everyday innovation! I was surprised at the low numbers of people that tried curbside pick up or delivery for the first time during the pandemic. I thought it would be higher based on my own bias. I guess to flip it, i am more surprised at how many people had already used this service prior to the pandemic.

I tried online shopping but found the staff would always pick lower quality, about to expire produce to send out on my order but at full price. It would be neat to see the technology advance to a point where products that are about to expire share the same large discounts they do in store, online.

The pandemic caused major disruptions across various industries, and certainly forced many businesses and government bodies to adopt and accelerate online solutions.

Great content! COVID-19 changed the way we shop for groceries, pushing many of us, including myself, to try online shopping services. While it was convenient for essentials, the quality of fresh produce often did not meet my expectations, as the items picked were not as good as what I would choose in-store.

Getting groceries was really changed during the pandemic. I remember needing to wait a week for a pickup slot and the store was across town, because the closer ones had an even longer wait

The COVID-19 pandemic transformed Canadian shopping habits, shifting from in store visits to a significant increase in online shopping, curbside pickup, and delivery services, driven by health and safety concerns and resulting in a lasting preference for the convenience of online grocery shopping.
