Cinemassacre haha Mike, yeah that password is ridiculous. When I was a kid, used to plan long consecutive block of hours on the weekend for games that required a password to continue just to reduce the number of times I had to enter the password. This game was one of them. It really is a fun game though and I always felt that it's only major flaw was the end boss. Luckily, the boss is pretty easy once you understand the spam punch "glitch". It takes a few tries to get it... But once you do, you feel like a god XD. For some reason, I want to see a live stream of Desert Strike on SNES. That was one of my favorite games on the SNES and I would love to revisit it from an outside perspective. If not, then maybe a Mike and James Monday on it!
Fun fact: the "dip" is actually 3 chemicals. Turpentine, acetone, and benzene. Those 3 chemicals are able to remove all the ink from a traditional animation cell. It's a bit of a genius bonus. Quote from a wiki: "it's a mixture of turpentine, acetone, and benzine, which all of them are paint-thinners. Combined in the real world, they make up the solution hand animators used to use to remove ink from animation cells. This could be considered an inside joke, as your average audience member would not know what these ingredients made up".

Shredder could be beaten without a scroll just by standing on the tall platform. He'd try to jump up trying to get you, and you'd just knock him back down to the floor. That pattern would repeat. He's a pushover, even without scrolls.
FYI: The Weasels don't tell you jokes. ROGER says the set up, and EDDIE says the punchline, which makes the Weasels laugh and drop Roger. Just like in the movie how Doom was always warning them one day they would laugh themselves to death

You can harm Doom with the Bombs and Cigars. Around the 1:04:55 mark, they would've more likely finished him off if you had nine of each. Also a rare glitch makes some other weapons harm him too but it's only happened once for me in the 20+ years I've had this game so I don't even know to get it to work.
In case no one answered, Eddie's gilfriend in the movie is in one of the buildings not in toon town and you give her the heart and she gives you hints like Jessica.

I just watched The LJN Defender review this game, and in spite of pointing out a game-breaking bug (one which he recommends re-entering the password repeatedly to bypass), he concluded that the game was "perfect". I'm pretty sure he called it perfect. I don't mean to imply that Matt has no objectivity, but... Well, he has no objectivity.
I'm just gonna be honest, I don't like some of the editing in this video. You will be heading somewhere to do something an then suddenly it jumps to something totally different, and it's kind of confusing. Like for instance you were looking for the baseball, and then suddenly it jumped to you going to the magical building, which you said you had mentioned earlier but it must have been edited out so I had no idea what you were talking about, and it looked like the baseball was suddenly in your inventory so I didn't see how you got that.
mike as much i like the livestreams of the games you do, but how come James doesn't do one ? i know he can be busy with the Nerd episodes but could he no do just one lifestream ?
