I think the first exercise is for Nomer to know who is susceptible or not and that the part with the calculator is just a trick. The part with Pablo is scary though. That was dangerous and they should've stopped when Pablo said he felt heavy.
Pablo's demeanor gave me chills. He glanced at the camera & had that eerie & sinister grin

What struck me when I watched this the first time was how open and vulnerable they were, like children. Somehow the youngest, Justin, had the most self-preservation. Like he had all the protection he needed. May have to do with how secured he had it growing up. Very hard to explain. I just know that when I was watching this the protector in me, the mama bear, was activated.
I was very disturbed when I watched this the first time. The part of me that has trained in psychology wanted to call their management and call them out.
@MB-tg2yk ooooo I totally get where you are going with this. The guy even said that hypnosis only works best for those with an 'imagination' or imo who get carried away with emotions and thoughts I.e. Pablo and Stell. This is so creepy. Eugh, I can't wait to listen to ep. 5

Waiting for your take on AAL ep.5, Hurraira. I was seriously disturbed when I first watched this mentalist video because hypnotism should not be taken lightly or used for entertainment purposes. I was seriously angry with their then management (assuming it was their idea) - because I have a background in counselling psychology. After Ep 5, my worst fears were confirmed - it looked like the boys had unintentionally dabbled with the occult aside from having been hypnotised without a legitimate therapeutic purpose. I am still shaking with anger just hoping there are no lasting repercussions.

Watched this once before and it felt creepy. Rewatching it with you after their ep5 podcast just made it way beyond creepy. This is dangerous. Brrrrrrr.

Mentalists are mind-boggling (excuse the pun 😊) to me. Everytime they appear in talent competitions, I’m thoroughly entertained. Like you Hurraira, I know there’s got to be trick to it. But this one hits different. It was a cause for concern.
This vlog puts a lot of context to what they talked about in the podcast. I’ve watched this before, but after watching the podcast AND rewatching this vlog again, it made a lot of sense. This exercise being a dangerous stunt proved to be true, and we the audience can feel their fear even after a few yrs when it happened, as they were reliving that moment.
They said that they cut some of the footage due to Pablo is acting creepy and seems different. But, if you listen to their Podcast Episode 5, Stell has the creepiest experience during that time.
After the podcast was aired I watched this again and really focused on Pablo, Stell, and Ken. I noticed by the end of it (after the candle transition at the end) that Stell and Ken looked like they were feeling heavy and Pablo.. doesn't look like Pablo at all. He looked scary 🥲

Actually, they should show the behind the scenes after they cut. I heard (I think Stell said) that Pablo is still not himself and looking like he wants to harm someone. They should talk about what happened or what they felt after the episode.
@@elizabethdavid6806 I don't think they would film that to be honest, knowing that they were all scared and concerned, including the staff.
@@Lunavipatinthey actually did because they said they had to cut a lot of parts from this episode especially when Pablo is still not acting like himself. He only snapped out of it when they were at the hotel they were supposed to stay at after filming this.
In the podcast, Josh was asking the staff behind the camera if they still have the uncut version and if they can show it to the public.
I was skeptic about it the first time I watched it. Out of all of it, the numbers for me was the least convincing coz first, he has control over the calculator and he can ask for numbers until he actually gets the result he wants (it's tricky but I believe there's a way to do it, coz I do simple card tricks as well). What I can't explain was the name Jojo. It's so random. BTW, did you notice Ken hugging Stell at the beginning? So sweet those two! 🥰
They talk about this in the podcast many happening there that's why they cut it. I need to see the uncut video. U notice in the last part Pablo stare is creepy. More strange in this Hypnotized because I noticed Stell too feel heavy he just like hard to breathe.

When I watched this, I thought Nomer purposely didn't ask Stell to do anything since he knows he was possessed when he was young. But it turns out he didn't know and they didn't show a lot of what happened to Stell in this episode. 😢

filipinos, as are most SEA countries apparently, are VERY superstitious. seriously, every family has a supernatural story. thankfully, everyone of us (ma, pa, me and sis) are all psy-null. but the teenaged daughter of my cousin can see spirits/elementals and was even possessed. you know what, i don't think i can continue watching this tonight. i'll rewatch this tomorrow -- when the sun is up! lol
To have a full understanding of this video's relation to the podcast, you should watch and take note of Pablo and his demeanor before and after the hypnosis, especially towards the end. Everybody was looking his way worried, and the hypnotist was looking a bit uneasy for a reason. I, myself am not a full believer of hypnotism but I am in full awe of the power and wonders of the brain and am open to a whole world of knowledge and information out there. Just saying...😅

I actually wasn't able to properly watch that hypnosis episode coz I don't know, kinda skeptical about it. But now as I watched it here, and maybe me being more open-minded than before, I would say this kind of thing gets more interesting now. Like what you said Hurraira, it's more like a science, psychology actually. Maybe we just don't know, this kind of scenario is an actual psychological procedure used by professional psychologist.
I didn't really like this video but I still watched it, but now that I've seen their podcast, it's more spooky. Hope they don't repeat this kind of stuff. Praying for the boys all the time🙏

I think the problem is there may have been a spirit in the room that interfered with the hypnotism. They admitted a big part was cut because of the strange things that happened that night.

I don't think I finished watching this. To be honest, I ranked this lowest in all of their vlogs. I think it's a bad call as there is a danger of opening up something that can go beyond your control. Even it it's for entertainment purposes only, the outcome could be serious. And after watching Atin Atin Lang Ep 5, my feelings were validated. Stell told something that wasn't included in the episode. He was actually a skeptic and he's aware of what was happening. This is actually long but they cut if off as it's getting to be serious. Did you notice the way Pablo was staring and his demeanor really changed?

I wonder how you'll react when you listen to their podcast about this... Explains why jah seemed not to listen nor follow the hypnosis activity.. somehow, i think this was very dangerous though because Homer didn't take precautions before subjecting them into this, as Stell is susceptible to possession since he almost got possessed when he was young...
Yeah, I'm not so much of a hypnotism believer as well coz I think it's just more on mind tricks. But what I find more interesting than the hypnotism part is that, Nomer(the mentalist), must've awakened their sixth sense where something supernatural(?) has transpired in this episode most esp to stell and pablo (to the point where they have to cut some parts of the video). Just a little wrong move he could've done to stell that time could lead to a possession (as what stell revealed in the podcast).. and Pablo's death stare? omg! i don't want to spoil it.. you'll find out more when you listen to the podcast 😂
