    Thank you for sharing your work! This model is simply amazing. I just finished my first 2017 f1 model and I'm going to make your 2023 updated version. Very nice model and upgrades. Maybe someone will improve the chassis elements in the future. Maybe there is a discord channel where openrc f1 enthusiasts gather? Wishes from UK

    HI!!!!
    First of all, congratulations for the fantastic design and the hard work put into this design!! The update you made to Daniel Noree's model is spectacular.
    I am a 1/10 scale f1 RC automodeling racer, but I am also a fan of 3d design and printing.
    My idea is to take your printable files and print the car, but I have some questions for you, if you don't mind.
    1 - As I would like to put a more powerful motor (brushless 5.5T), I should print it approximately 30% larger than the original model,
    I estimate that the length of the car could be "approximately 60 cm".
    Do you think it could be possible and the pieces fit correctly?
    2 - The floor of the car that you designed is great!, did you make any other modifications to it? or is that the most updated file?
    3 - The wheels, I would like them to be larger (in scale to the 18 inches of the real f1 2022 / 23), do you think the front end parts can be adapted?
    - Well... sorry for such a question, I hope it was not a bother... (and sorry if my grammar was not good) Thank you very much for the files and the videos! I'm a big fan! keep it up!! I send you a greeting from Argentina!

    how does it handle withou a suspension. must be extremely sensitive to throttle

    • @InvertedPursuitsLab
      @InvertedPursuitsLab  ปีที่แล้ว

      It very much is. If you just go full throttle it immediately spins out, but if you have a long enough stretch you can get it up to full speed on a with a slow increae in throttle

    This is my first time trying to print an Open RC Car, so with the files you listed the 2023 ones seem just cosmetic correct to the car shown in the video. The Other Files listed (2017) are the ones needed to operate the actual car correct? (Without electronics motor etc..) Which parts would I print out? Should I print all of the Original Noree Parts then go to the IPL 2023 Parts list and go from there? Any information would be helpful!

    • @InvertedPursuitsLab
      @InvertedPursuitsLab  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you print all the parts I have listed in the 2023 Printables listing you will end with a functional car. I separated teh listing based on where the parts came from to pay proper respects to their creators. Aka my parts are listed as IPL and parts that are still original Noree are labeled as such. Hopefully that helps!

      @@InvertedPursuitsLab Hey thanks for the information that makes alot more sense. In terms of building it can it be similar to other guides of building the Open RC 2017 or 18 version? Would you ever consider doing a step by step build guide with what material (exluding printed parts) are needed to build it? I just don't know what (or how many) nuts bolts etc would be needed to complete it. Thank You!

      It will be the same process as the existing build guides.

    The only thing bothering me is the lack of grip. Can you make rims that can fit the common RC Foam compound for maximum grip? :)

      @FarmerFpv 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Just cut a bicycle innertube into round bands and contact cement it in place. It's cheap and so far I have a month on them. It will give you lots of grip and you can replace it when it wears down. You can make 8 sets out of one Walmart bicycle tube. Get the thickest one that is tight-fitting over the tires. It's basically a rubber sleeve.

    Would be great to have a version that could be printed on the Prusa Mini, its sooooo cloooose, just a few mill over on that front base plate....:(

    • @InvertedPursuitsLab
      @InvertedPursuitsLab  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately the plates have always been to big to print on the mini. Maybe a future project, or a community mid may already exist. It's amazing what the OpenRC community has developed

      Daniel Noree is the originator of this project and his website contains great content for builds including sources and instructions

      Yes, I like the challenge of printing tpu. I do know there are several community mods out there for an off the shelf tire

    Hey man this is a dumbass question, but what is the optimal print orientation of the new Front Hubs?

    • @InvertedPursuitsLab
      @InvertedPursuitsLab  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Really isn't 1 great orientation, all require lots of support. I posted a print file with this or the 2022 variant showing how I printed the hubs
