Thanks for posting this. Incredibly helpful as the radio has started generating a loud buzzing from the speakers even with the power off. Gonna have to extract the offending unit and stick a new one in.
+LMF5000 hi, sorry for the late reply, but did this work for you? I am experiencing the same exact thing and it is completely awful.
+macd96 I pulled out the old radio, took it apart and smeared thermal grease on the two big electrical components (they are the ones that are held tightly to the case with metal clamps to help heat dissipation). I suspect they were overheating. I reassembled the unit and it's been working fine ever since. But I suspect the reason it worked is more to do with luck than the thermal compound ;)
Great video guys! I want to ask where is the Climate Temperature Control Sensor H82NB, the sensor for inside temperature?
I see that this radio module only has 1 big plug but i also see many videos of radio modules that have 3 or 2 slightly smaller plugs from the same model Fiesta (mk7 2008/2012).
Can anyone tell wich Fiestas have that one plug radio module?

I've installed a 2din android and i can't access the menu in the original car monitor. i need a way to change the date there because it says 2010...any advice?

any tips on the Bluetooth, as mine has trouble pairing, it connects disconnect and so on.
+Benjamin Mason Pull the sync fuse located behind the glove box. Then do a master reset in the menu of the stereo. Pair the device again, and it should work.

@@panagiotis6709 You would have to replace more than just the radio unfortunately, I believe..
Mine with bluetooth is faulty anyway so you're not missing out on much lol
There already is an external wired input: the mini jack plug between two front seats is the Aux input. You can wire your external device plugging it in there directly or plug in a bluetooth minijack adapter (receiver mode), you just select Aux and listen to anything. I plugged in even musical instruments, besides walkman cassette recorder, smartphone etc. You could even remove the mini jack plug and solder wires but it's not worth it: the minijack plug is good.
Basicaly i want to put a new monitor ,some bigger one and i don't know if it will work.
is it possible to change the center console you have just removed and upluged to a sony one?
+Cris No sadly as I realized, wiring is different, and Sony unit comes without vents, but again I saw Sony units with vents too I guess that is pre-facelift model. I mean it is possible but you really need to know what exactly parts you need (wiring, headunit etc.) and then afterwords seems a bit tricky to connect all.
Probably after all is done you will need someone to update you car from Ford i guess. I don't know this for sure because i gave up after wiring problem ... it's just too tricky.
