I don't know if at the time of this video Paul did things differently, but these days he uses Miracle grow ericaceous pellets which is a chemical fertiliser, and naruka which is a biological fertiliser, I've never asked him what liquid ones he's used.
I tend to ferterlise mine during the growing season. The trees go into dormancy during winter months and will not take any feed. I hope that helps. Regards IK
Great video Paul, i have a very large Heiwa that is pot bound now, just coming into flower should i re pot after flowering? Or wait until next March? Any help appreciated.. Forgot to mention we have a shared friend 'Mack' in Japan all the best!
Hello Edmund, I am responding to your comment as Paul is not following up on comment. It would be best to repot in spring. I suggest that you wait until next spring, in the mean time take your time to water it as it will take longer to water if it is root bound. Let me know If you need further information of assistance.
Great informative video.
Thanks for watching and your feed back.
Great video. I thought I over fed my Satsuki but after seeing this I'm under feeding lol
What fertilizers did he say he uses for the satsukis? Thanks.
