Great interview, and you're a congenial host, but I must admit that I get entertained by your facial expressions when you get surprised by new info. I'm making the same expressions at home. Lol!
His advice for producers is true. Dont go in trying to get in the industry knowing ( too much) the business some people shoot theirselves in the foot determined not to get "played" and end up playing themselves because no one will work with them. Basically you are going to get "played" in some way in the beginning. Allow yourself to get played to get in the door but when you get in the door you can start making moves.
I found a song called caught you by case yesterday after many years from his personal conversation album it features TL Cross/ Levar Wilson ( talented guy ) on background vocals Mucho worked on the song.
I use to work as an intern for AEI records in Atlanta of Covington hwy and a man named Phil use to rent an office space from the owners and Phil took over management for basic black and Mucho and Dezo use to come and hangout often and make us laugh for hours real cool guys
Yea I only heard about that during my interview with Teddy's old Producer, but he explains what really happened with Allstar th-cam.com/video/wYbKcXBUGDU/w-d-xo.html
Teddy was clearly a scum bag and never put these guys in positions to be great or know in their own right. At least with puff he gave people that put the work in platforms; people like mario w
Very disappointing watching this. Changes and My Love were two of my favorites that I thought Teddy did. Great questions and allowing Mucho to talk. The credit brings the GR situation to mind without the gangsterisms. The Mary J remix albums sold milllions. Too bad Mucho didn;'t credit. I saw his name on credits and wondered how he got back w/ Teddy after the Basic Black era. Classic examples of how tough it is for creative people to be just as proficient in business. as they are in different areas.
I knew he didn’t do that Amerie record. When i heard it, and saw the credits In my gut I said Naw..this ain’t a Teddy Riley production..I’m wondering did he do the same with Lady Gaga’s record on her 1st album.🤔
@@HalftimeChat sorry not buying it to many people got affected by this guy in the wrong way and there are no good stories at all apart from I leaned the hard way

I hope he got his credit for the work he did on the case album.
Mad love and respeK for brother Mucho. He's really humble and talented

Puff took People's Credit too, ask easy Moe bee.
shout out to "Mucho" for saying what he had to say on 'Darrell "Dezo" Adams', the forgotten & lost god as voice ! #gonebutnotforgotten
He may have meant The Three Musketeers rather than 3 stooges 😁. We feel you tho 🙏🏾
😂😂😂
NO Mucho is super silly he definitely meant stooges LMAO
@@Abrams1stSon haha! Well that could be the case lol
Shouts out to Mucho...one of the funniest bruhs to work with in the music Industry...What up Fruit, Zack, Mr. C, Bunna, Poon
Mucho is one of the good guys 😁
He worked with Riff too at one point I think Judy had a boyfriend was his.
If your name is not on it you didn’t do it; just like homework

My brother I would have thought better after the situation with Gene, but it didn't turn out that way.
Doesn’t mean he didn’t get paid and he kept working with him so he was part of it
Mucho did one of my favorite mixes in life! Judy Had A Boyfriend
2020 proves interesting for music history i see🤔
You need to make a discog/playlist of all of the song that Mucho produced that he also didn't get credit for.
That’s a good idea but I think he will have to take cook teddy to Cory to prove it as it will make money
Didn't he work with basic black?.
He was in the group. See him in the video on the keyboard
Keith sweat twisted the sexual healing remix that was fire cant bliv he ddnt mention that....
Mucho hardly remembers half of the Productions he did 😔
It's a shame Teddy took that cred for those Mary remixes. Them joints was fire!

He brought back @Walter Scott to work on the Amerie record
Halftime Chat cool. Is Mucho still based in Georgia?
He sure is. He's finishing up a new album with his new group called BlackMale. I've heard 4 tracks and be prepared to be blown away 🔥
Halftime Chat oh awesome.
😭😭😭 eeemmmm lol

Teddy Riley is true crook
Maybe affected by the industry 🤔
