From a die hard Kings fan, appreciate the props shown for Jason Williams aka White Chocolate. Dude was absolute wizard with the basketball. Never put up gaudy numbers but he was something else. A notch below hall of fame for sure.
I think most people failed to realize J Will's ability to control the pace of the game. You could see that when he was in Memphis when he started to tune down his flashiness.
@@songgut his speed down the court combined with his deceleration into the paint trailing off into a pass. That jolting pace of all-out speed into a full stop really does force all 9 of the other players on the court to glue themselves to you
Happy he gave J Will a shout out, though I think he might have had to b/c they are neighbors in Orlando. I'm a huge Williams fan, saw almost all of his games on league pass since 2003.
I'm glad they mentioned Jason! No one ever does. Think folks thought he was too flashy if he gets the ball where it's supposed to be, who cares how he got it there!
Shaq played with Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, then Kobe "Black Mamba" Bryant and then Dwayne "the Flash" Wade. Some of the greatest players of all time. Penny to me is 90s nostalgia.
@@TROYBALLER I'd even say first 4 years. Because he did good year after Shaq left too but I get what you saying. Still did 17/5/5 with the Suns that one post injury time. What a player
KG cannot stop moving/talking to save his life....I love KG's energy, but he's talking every other secnod, hes barely letting shaq talk, he did the same thing with Candace, Barkley had to tell em to "shut the hell up" lol. Barkley was joking, but he was kinda serious...KG needs to work on his interviewing skills,/being a tv host.

It takes good fortune to win it all and Health is part of that fortune. Watching the NBA Association documentary about that Celtics team gave me a closer look at how good they were. Those excuses would have changed their outcome
GTR24 Exactly, all of those things, and yes rondo did play with basically one elbow after game 3...but they wouldn't even be in a game 3 as the 3 seed in the second round against the heat if they were healthy the entire year, game 3 against them would have likely been in miami in the conference finals with the celtics as a 1 seed and miami as the 3 seed, celtics vs mavericks would have been an insane matchup
what more can he say, shaq had an amazing career, playing with those great players and most guys would agree that Shaq contributed a lot to the popularity of NBA Basketball, probably more than Magic Johnson
naruto sasuke Why would Duncan be quiet? As far as I'm concerned, Kareem seems like the awkwardly quiet person too. But you still watch him. No different from Duncan. He'd have interesting stories, theories, and things to say about the game today and tomorrow. That's the problem with you. You're assuming just because Duncan is calm and quiet (he's a Taurus, they're known for that) that he wouldn't be interesting. Well, if you want loud and energetic players to only be in Area 21, that's you. But for some of us who like to hear basic or advanced basketball knowledge instead of seeing someone with a lot of energy just being loud and saying random things, that's you. You can separate yourself from us, the intelligent people who want more in depth knowledge of the game, and what it was like playing for Pop forever. Some of us wanna know.

Cool segment. A couple of things; I was hoping to hear more personal things in this segment as far as what shaq did in his free time for fun. when he wasn’t playing. Hiking, canoeing, Cave exploring. By the way nice green gardening gloves behind shaq in the glass case. What player has their own vegetable garden??
I was already laughin, but the way that went out. They really were great on the court together. Imagine if it were even the tail end of their primes would have been best big duo of all time. They clearly had fun then. But here too you can tell.
Every time a star scorer like Shaq or LeBron get asked who they would pick as their one teammate to choose from, they usually pick a passing wizard who can also shoot. They want someone to compliment their own game well, and when you are as great at assisting as J dub you compliment pretty much anyone’s game well.
There was tension cause Shaq hated on the young fella & he had the most fun wit kobe because now he's winning, b4 kobe swept 2wice by Huston & bulls wit Rodman playing center schooled shaq.......
Just because they won doesn’t mean it was fun. Shaq said it himself, when he went to the Lakers, it was “business”. If I had to guess, by watching Shaq over the years, it seems like he had the most fun in Orlando or Phoenix.
I just realized that Shaq probably played with the most top 50 all time teammates in his career. Probably Robert Horry might eclipse that but I can't think of anyone else.
J wil was the reason Shaq got booted from the Heat. Th story goes, Shaq rocks up a few minutes late and he bumps into J Wil going back to the locker. Shaq asked him why? J Wil told me he had an argument with Pat and was booted from practice. Shaq then lost it and went to talk to Pat, to let J Wil come back...as a family they should talk it through...and not just kick people out. The talk escalates to an argument...with Pat saying ish like 'I run sh88 here'. The argument then spirals into yelling at uncomfortably close range. Pat then supposedly stuck, his finger in Shaq chest and told him to f8k off too. Alonzo...immediately grabbed Shaq...as he was sure Shaq was going to swing on Pat. Shaq body slams Alonzo and leaves....and soon after was traded lol Disclaimer: That's how Shaq recounts the story lol....so I'm not sure how it really went down...but its def plausible As nice as Shaq is...he has an uncontrollable anger switch......plus a lot of past incidents at Orlando and LA and future ones at Suns that suggest...his story is accurate
J. Will will never get the credit he deserves bcuz so many thought he took & missed bad shots or made bad decisions during crucial historical moments but Jason Williams aka china whyte coco...is one of the best ever PGs the NBA signed.
Yes, Shaq. Kevin Garnet, very humble dude. I sometime forget he was the highest paid NBA player at some point.
Randomly looked up someones net worth the other day... Saw KGs name.. Clicked it.. Was shocked to see his over 100 mil net worth. Crazy
That’s why he was named “the big ticket.”
KG One of the Greatest..2004 NBA MVP..2008 NBA Champion! Future Hall Of Famer..Maybe this Year!

Hahahahahhaha KG humble hahahahahahhaha thats a good one
I think Shaq had the most fun in that Buick

nah he had fun with that gold bond

Can these 2 get they own show? Throw GP in there too
