You described this in a humble way, but it is brilliant. I have loop and tube bands and the Innstar bar. If this was weighed down, the eyelets could also be used in a way similar to bands being connected to a door anchor placed at different heights, depending on the exercise. I live in an apartment with cheap doors so I haven't tried the door anchor yet.

Thanks for sharing this and I would definitely buy one if such product is available on the market. I would probably try to diy this and I was wondering if you could update the link to the diagram.

Do you still use your bands on a regular basis? I been using mine for about 2 months not but thinking about upgrading my setup to something like you have built. Would love more videos

Cool! Yes, everything is holding up pretty well. I have had a couple of very light bands fail but no harm done. The Rogue bands are very solid. I may do some more videos soon. I have other side projects and it's hard to keep up with them and a full time job.
      Thanks for watching!

This is really awesome man. I’m actually one of the few who started working out exclusively with bands even before the whole pandemic. Never really took it that serious but I’m trying now and this idea is awesome. About how much did this cost you? Im thinking of building one the same way with maybe a few extra pieces and slightly longer. Any tips would be appreciated, I’m trying to build something that can hold a crazy amount of tension. Thank again my friend

      Thanks.
It came to just under $200 and it's still in perfect shape.

Hello and thank you for sharing your rack build!
Is it possible to use bodylastics, therabands and full-body long resistance bands all at the same time to perform high load exercises such as squats, overhead press, bench press, seated rows, etc?
Also, is it possible to use tee nuts at certain drill spots so that the rack can be partially disassembled and put away when not being used?
Thanks again for sharing your design, it's very innovative! 👍

I plan on doing that with the loop type bands. of course you need pairs of them if you are using a bar.
If I were to design a rack that breaks down, I would design it with large bolts and hex nuts for strength.
      Thanks

@@musclediy5838 Thanks for letting me know. I have a variety of resistance bands and tubes and I'm interested in doing super slow training with them. And this rack looks like it will definitely do the job! Do you have any detailed drawings for the build? Thanks again!

Just did the link to your blog. I see you have the affiliate thing going. Do you think you'd make a lot more $$$ protecting this design legally and selling it?

    • @musclediy5838

I started into the patent process for a product a while back. It gets expensive and complicated.
I would just build these and sell them until someone inevitably priced me out of the market lol.

@@musclediy5838 Maybe you could sell plans in a way similar to an e-book with a few phone calls included if someone wanted to customize it. I came across your video looking for ideas to anchor bands without anchoring to the cheap doors in my apartment. Thought maybe cement in a bucket with a tall pole, but wouldn't work with higher anchor point.

@@musclediy5838 I've read a few small biz legal books by Nolo Press. They are like "self-help", D.I.Y. legal books on how to do legal stuff (wills, register as a corp, divorce, etc) without a lawyer or to minimize billable hours. I wonder if there is an easier process than full patent protection that would protect you and allow you to make a deal with a company so you could profit off this. Public libraries usually carry a bunch of Nolo Press books. They are very legit books.

I mean.. if someone sold it, I'd probably get one. I really like resistance band training, but there is a huge gap in the market, for equipment that supports that sort of training for people who are serious. There could literally be a functional trainer made for resistance bands, would be cool. I'd never use tupe-resistance bands though, always normal flat bands, as they are better, stronger & more durable.

I agree, except I do use the tube type if they have safety sleeves.
