It's time for our first proper catch up of the year and we're off to Lepe beach for a walk... and a bacon bap. Back home for some Lidl biscuits and plant planting before we head off to the Paw Paddock in Romsey for the first time. And an update on what's been happening and why we're doing the SU2C sponsored dog walk.

He's at the age now where he'd be putting a lock on his door. That paddock is amazing, such a great idea. I'm sorry to hear about the health issues your family is dealing with but the support of loved ones can make such a difference. But those blinds are great!

Hello you, it's been a short while ❤❤.Mr M laying a log on a log classic 😂😂. The wet dog smell in the car after the beach was missing from the vlog 😂
Thankfully we have a great car valeter... and since we got M we have less opportunities to shower so the whole car is ripe most of the time!

Scary experience with those random people who were overly interested in him.. you're right to trust your gut feeling and make a hasty exit.
We're just sitting down to re watch your California 2019 trip. Hopefully off there next year so looking for some inspiration. We're planning to start in LA and then head north for my cousin's wedding in Santa Rosa. Quick trip to FL this July though to get our fix.

Sadly we're having a rest from Disney this year so won't be able to try the dining plan out now it's coming back. We love Disney but have been the last 2 years in a row so we like to have a year off to let a few things change. Will be going to Universal this time as we've not been there since 2019. Hopefully having a more relaxing orlando holiday but that never really happens once we're there. Too much fun stuff to do!

Lovely to see how Mr M is coming on! We’ve also used the run free fields for our dog - wish I’d thought of it - great idea! Can I ask where you got the blinds from? They would be ideal for our kitchen as also very sunny and gets too hot in summer. Talking of hot, I’m off to sunny Orlando next week for two weeks woo hoo - 34 degrees! Just a touch hotter than her 😂

So I'm not a dog person but when your vlogs come up on a Saturday it is our mandatory viewing with a morning cuppa! But today you gave us here a bonus - LEPE! we absolutely love that place - it's a 2 hour drive for us but love it. Sometimes we will just park up with the car facing the sea and watch the waves :) glad to donate to your cause - very worthy IMHO and I wouldn't be surprised if you did hit your chosen target before the day is out. Hiya 🤗 Marshall just looks so big, bless him but a lot more calmer which is prob good for you both 😊 Sorry to hear about your mum’s - I hope your mum has recovered ok Ian? We have been going through our own cancer scare. My dad was diagnosed with stage 2 prostate cancer in Oct. He opted to have his prostate removed in Nov but it has scared us all and has changed him. My dad is someone who always worries about health etc so I knew this whole thing would affect him and it really has. Even though he had his prostate removed he will forever be scared every time he has a blood test and there’s implications for him as a man, by having it removed….it honestly breaks my heart for him but we all try and keep his spirits up as much as we can 😊 It’s lovely to see you both, I hope you’re having a lovely weekend. I was at my sis yesterday for my nieces 9th birthday (which is actually tomorrow) and just having a chill today. Take care 🩷 xxx
Awww, sorry to hear about your dad. Has he got ongoing treatment after its removal or has he now been given the all clear? I think it’s common after going through treatment that there is some constant fear - at least for a while - but over time that should, hopefully, become less front of mind and less consuming for him.
It’s difficult watching someone one you love go through treatment. Sending love to you all - and hope there was lots of cake yesterday and that you had lots of fun and made some great new memories. Xx
@@MrDavidMrIan No further treatment required, after quite a long wait he did get the all clear which was great. He just has quite a few follow up appts to check on him. I’m hoping over time he gets back to his near normal self 🙏🏽 Prob a bit too much cake, thank you 😘 xxx

Lovely vlog. Good to see you back. We love it at Lepe Beach. We often go with our pup and it is particularly lovely there in the summer evenings. You can get an annual parking pass if you go there often. You can also get one that covers other places such as Hamble, Netley Abbey and a couple of other places that are not too far away . You may already be aware but just thought I would mention it. 👍
No we didn’t know, so that’s a great tip!
To be fair, the first couple of times we went were confused about the parking as we couldn’t work out where to pay. So we assumed we do it at the end of the exit but the barrier just went up so we assumed it was free...
Then last week we found the little ‘shed’ with the smallest ‘Pay Here’ sign on 🤦🏼♂️
So we’re expecting a few fixed penalty notices through the post in the coming weeks.

Hi guys keep walking ❤ my mum was given a palliative diagnosis just before Christmas, dealing with the end game of a disease that is totally awful 😢 love your Disney stuff, but also love the Marshall ones so keep doing what you do. Honestly it’s light relief and a total get away from normal every day xx thanks (donation made obviously)

I have a Golden Retriever a female that has been spayed , she drawls like that on a long walk when she needs a drink. I don’t think she is affected by dogs on heat 😄?!
