I went through some financial hardships recently but once I straighten that out I am going to buy some merch and maybe some lessons on theory. Thanks for everything....and if you do another song from the Tony Rice's guitar album I would love to see you break down Faded Love!
Hey Marcel, awesome job! I think you may be missing a note in the intro/outro. In the first run (highlighted section at 4 minutes of your video), right before the B chord (A-chord relative to capo), I’m pretty sure there is a C# (A-string 2nd fret relative to capo). Something didn’t sound quite right about it when I compared my playing to Billy’s (no surprise there, haha) and that’s when I noticed there are 6 distinct notes ( including the A-chord) in that run vs the 5 in the tab. If you listen closely I’m sure you’ll hear what I’m talking about. Seriously though, thank you, to you and others like you that do the heavy lifting on transcribing tabs like these. I would probably be too overwhelmed to try and figure them out on my own.
dude i talked to billy at a festival a few years back when i could barely play. i was absolutely mindfucked the entirely time he performed and when i talked to him. nicest dude. after a couple years of playing since then, i feel so proud to sloppily play turmoil and tinfoil and pyramid country barely up to speed.

What program do you use to get the tabs to show up as graphics during your videos? Is there an app or program out there that will actually tab the solos for you? Thanks!
I do all the graphics by hand sadly. I write my transcriptions in Power Tab, export them and animate them in Adobe Premiere Pro. Wish there was a simple solution but there's not! No program available will transcribe breaks for you either. TH-cam's playback speed settings help a lot but it mostly takes patience, familiarity with the guitar and practice!
