I've had heavy urge incontinence for nearly 12 years. Diapers are my management tool of choice. Not invasive, and no side effects from medications that don't stop incontinence anyway.
I have Urgent incontinence and I do wear diapers when outside. I have also found, for me, that taking a zinc supplement can help. I take one pill once a week and I have found the urge is less, but when I have to pee there is no stopping it. I would suggest that all with this problem have the zinc level tested, it may help. With my recent surgeries and what not, I was recently diagnosed with Urge incontinence, although I am am glad I was use to wearing them previously. I am on a six-week course of medication and my condition will be reevaluated on December 6th.
I’ve had urge incontinence since I was a teenager (I’m in my mid-30s now). I mostly use pull-ups in my day-to-day life. I make it to the bathroom about 95% of the time, so I prefer something I can easily get off when I reach the toilet. The pull-ups are good for catching little leaks, and they can handle a full wetting if I don’t make it. I wear diapers to bed and any time when I know a bathroom won’t always be convenient, like a long drive or if I’m going to a movie.

I prefer pullups mainly because of my chronic pain issues at night. Trying to put on a tab style diaper is almost impossible because of chronic pain and limited Mobility so for the longest I was wearing pull-ups to bed. My preferred pull-ups are Tena Intimates Overnights with a Tranquility booster Pad. but as of late, my urinary output at night is increasing so the pull-ups are no longer sufficient. so I had to start using the Walmart brand Equate briefs with one velcro tab on each side they are much easier to put on. I fasten them beforehand and then pull them up like underwear. they get me through the night and haven't had a leak yet. I've been wearing them for over a week and so far so good. With the Tena pullups, they can hold three moderate weddings But if you wet in them three times don't try to sit down because at that point they're saturated and if you sit down they're going to leak out on your clothing and your chair. And when I say moderate wedding I mean 6 to 8 oz
@@jasonchilds894for your situation I would also point you in the direction of Prevail Air Overnight. They are more absorbent than the Walmart brand but use elastic tapes just the same.
I got intermittent catheters for 13 years now. Before that , when I first started , I would use toilet paper with paper towels in my underwear. The catheters are a little miracle for me. No therapy. No medicine. No surgery. and No UTIs. I can wait 3 to 5 hours without leaks but I'm using disposable underwear if I'm too late.
Wow that is great! That is possibly one of the best experiences with catheters I have ever heard. I have heard A LOT of horror stories. I'm glad you found something that works for you.
I am a 47 year old woman and started to have urge incontinence back in spring of 2021 caused by menopause and aging. My doctor tried me on pills for it and I have to stop taking the pills for urge incontinence do to the side effects of the pills. I told my doctor that I want to wear tape diapers because when I have an urge to pee it comes out in medium gushes of pee I can't hold in and than I take off my diaper to do the rest in the toilet and put on a clean diaper on.
@@copcarguymn I have tried depends but it's too big for me, goodnites were almost the right size for me with the largest one but to me leaks a little more easily.
It is also worth noting that cloth diapers have also come a long way and can also be moved out of the way if you wish to actually use a toilet. Since they are reusable, there is no risk of wasting a diaper by doing this to a cloth diaper.
Marc, Thank you for your informative video. Since prostate surgery 3 years ago, I found that I can usually get by with using a male guard but do wear a tabbed diaper on occasion when I know that restroom access might not be readily available. I have tried and not liked pullups, except for the NorthShore GoSupremes and the Abena highest capacity ones. When I do diaper up, I use some kind of barrier cream and powder. This combination so far has worked for me. I have ordered and received your powder and will be trying that in a comparison with my usual store brand cornstarch based powder. I live in the northeast US. The shipment arrived in a few days in excellent condition.

Yes hi I wear diapers because I'm incontinent I have a medical condition I have problems with my bladder I can't hold my urine I have a weak bladder and I've been having to wear diapers for a long time I'm supposed to have one on now I kinda wanted my to ventilate myself but I'll put one on shortly
Yeah sometimes I take my diaper off to let my skin breathe for a little bit anyway and then I put it back on but like I said I'm supposed to have them on all the time sometimes I do and sometimes I don't but I don't hate the fact of wearing diapers but you know if it's something I have to do it's something I have to do

The kind of incontinence I had before my gender Confirming surgery was urinary stress incontinence, caused by pelvic floor tention and everything related that was that was connected that was tight. And it was worse first thing in the morning, then it got worse over time. Intell I had to see a PT a pelvic floor specialist and surgery.

As someone with urge incontinence I use adult diapers and my doctor actually recommended, for my situation, tape up diapers. Good video Dynamo

When I had surgery in my rear private area, I wore diapers! and feel so comfortable! I use white plastic diapers. I love it because so comfortable!
