It's very simple, they make me feel good and I sleep better when I wear them. I feel secure. I really don't care if people judge me for it, it's my life and I’m gonna do what makes me feel better. At my age, feeling good is hard to come by. At least I’m not drinking and doing drugs.
I do a similar thing with shop's own brands slips but I peel the pad out and put it in my Tena's. It's help extend the pair, and, so long as it's only wet, it's easy to replace. Otherwise, it's fully discarded. Where I live, if I was to order diaper cases such as these, it would be very embarrassing for me as it's a residential lot, almost like a trailer park, but much, much smaller and closer to each other that we know each other's business. Can't wait till I get my own place so then I can order a plethora of diaper. Love your videos, thanks for making diapers cool.
I've been doing this for several years. Because of chronic pain issues and limited mobility it's hard to put a tab style diaper on myself for bedtime so I've been using Tena Intimates overnight pull ups with a Tranquility booster pad. I find it works very well.
I've used these before and really liked them a lot, just changing the liner is definitely easier and more discreet than having to change the whole diaper and you can tailor the absorbency you need as you need it. You could probably get 24 hours from the diaper if you kept the liner changed and it didn't leak into the diaper a lot, I personally would put the diaper and liner on about 6 a.m and change the liner a couple times throughout the day and then just the diaper with no liner for the last couple hours before shower and bed around 9 p.m and then another for night. The diaper and liner would always be completely used by morning then I'd start the process over. The only reason I stopped using them was I got too big for medium size but was swimming in the large size so I don't buy them anymore... I should probably try again with the large as I'm so big now they would probably fit 😔
I'm looking forward to testing them out with the proper pads to see what it's like. Plus, after taking a look at the cost per diaper and cost per pad it could potentially be a very good cost saving approach.
Marc, Thank you for the informative video. I will probably give them a try sometime. I think the taping guides are a plus. I hope you will be doing follow up videos on the performance of the shaped pads including your opinion of the various capacities plus the ease and methods of changing them.
Here some video ideas for you: ->Wearing diapers when you are not going to use them. For example wearing diapers for bedwetting, but you only bed wet like once per week. Can you keep wearing that dry diaper? how many times can i actually refasten typical hook-and-loop tapes. -> What about combining disposable and washable products? Maybe have a cheap disposable diaper for the protection, but you only want 100% chemical cotton on your skin. or vice versa, washable products are enough most of the time and you manage to change your diaper at home most of the time, but then you have a disposable booster pad ready when you can't wait to change at home. -> Waterproof pads waterproof bedsheets, mattress protectors, disposable pads, reuseable pads, above or below the bed sheets? will they tear? are they practical for chairs, sofas, as changing pads, Will towels work too or will that spread the wetness. -> Comparison between types of diaper changes. What is okay if you are in a hurry, what is just luxury if you have lots of time at home. I mean you could just remove the used diaper and put on the fresh one, no lotion/cream/powder or anything like that. Or you could take a bath and let everything air dry, then let some creams and lotions slowly get absorbed into your skin before putting on a diaper that you have fluffed up and pre warmed on a radiator. make a little tier list? Toilet paper vs. wet wipes vs. a normal wash cloth and running water vs. a shower or a bath on that note: taking like a half shower (just your lower half, maybe even keep your shirt on) is actually really useful some times.
I've had issues with taped diapers, pulling on the tapes to get them tighter or a better fit, but then from time to time, they rip off... any problems with that?
I agree that trying to pull (especially) the lower tapes too tight can cause them to rip. It took me a while to get the tapes both properly positioned and snug but not too tight. The LivDry diapers have a taping guide which should help. Some of the InControl diapers also have taping guides. I have also found that the tape landing zones on the diapers which have them are guides themselves to some extent and they can allow repositioning of the tapes. I stayed with them until I got my technique down. After I gained enough experience, I can get the tapes right for me. Now when I try a diapers new to me which lacks a landing zone, it takes me just one or two tries to get the tapes positioned properly. If I mess up, God gave us duct tape 😇
@@maidjadeanne2070 lol so true on the duct tape but ya, sometimes it takes a try or two with a new diaper to get the tapes in the right spot. Especially when there is a diff in size from what you're used to.
Congratulations on the sponsorship.! Great job on this video.
Thanks a ton Matthew!

Thanks for making diapers easy... especially for a highly stigmatized subject
Glad it was helpful! Just doing what little I can to make the world a better place. 💜

Yay! You're sponsered!!
Yes sirr! At least for a few projects. We will see how it goes.

Im glad you found something that works!
Wow man huge congrats on the sponsor. Made sure to hit that like button!
Much appreciated! Thank you!
Great job as usual 👏... congrats on sponsors
Thank you so much 😀

The quality of your videos only increases. 👍👍👍
Thank you! I put a lot of work into this one! Glad it was worth the effort and noticed!
Marc,

I very much would like to do that video too! I think it would be really good to try it out and experience it first hand.

All are wonderful suggestions thank you so much! I'll add these to the collection!
Looks like a nice diaper. I’m going to try them. I’m 24/7 so just changing the inner pad makes sense. Thanks for the video.
Glad it was helpful! I still would like to actually test the process. You know, see for myself what it is like. Hopefully soon.
I've been using baby diapers inside adult diapers as doublers, saves me on average of using one less adult diaper per day.
Great job Marc...
Thanks Steve!
Hey! I love your videos 🥰 I hope I had a confidence like yours....
You got this!
I love to use this. Much more discreet and convenient.
It certainly is an interesting option. Especially if one were to get multiple insert sizes and absorbencies that way they could adjust as needed.
Great video!😉👍🏽
You have a smart video Marc! You have a nice diaper. Keep it up. :-)
They are kind of interesting
I agree. Hopefully, I can do another video entirely testing the two-piece approach and see how it is.
a cheaper and as effective way to go two pieve would be using an attends brief with a tena super pad as an insert
Whatever works best for you!
I've had issues with taped diapers, pulling on the tapes to get them tighter or a better fit, but then from time to time, they rip off... any problems with that?
Sounds like might possibly be taping too tight? I'm not sure. Maybe a bad batch? That happens sometimes.
