Can family email the frame itself and have the picture display without having to use the app?
Yes, you can email the frame each photo frame is assigned with a unique email address.

Just to confirm....are you saying a family member can email a picture to the unique email address without installing the app@@ToolsElectroDIY
@@JM-if1mo yes that’s right if you take a look at the very beginning of the video where I showed you the app interface on the left side. You will see the email addresses in the drop-down menu for each of the three photo frames I use.
@@JM-if1mo if your family members install the app, you don’t have to share the same account login they can register their own account then you invite them to join the photo album
Will it play video longer than 5 minutes?
I think it's 60 seconds max
