Malcolm Nance is a national treasure. This is one of the best podcasts I've heard on the Russian question from all sides. I'm from Minnesota, so I admit my bias, but Al Franken is still my favorite Senator. It's so great to hear his voice and intelligence (in the real sense!) again.

I traveled to Russia in 2001 in conjunction with the International Health Alliance Conference and we made rounds visiting some of the clinics. That was 20 years ago but the medical equipment I saw was from the 40s. The oligarchy keep all the wealth and resources. Kind of like what is slowly taking place here in the USA

I'll mention an incident here that relates to your CIT training. My mother had a mental illness. I got a call to go pick her up and that police were involved. Nothing new there. She had wandered into traffic and cars were honking at her. When i arrived, I was informed the cop had bashed her in the head with his mag-light. I was furious!

His thug mentality was cultured and exploited by the police department. This is where training and regulation need to come in. No one do I share more of an opinion and an interpretation of global events and history than Malcolm Nance. Considering his background, I feel my understanding reinforced. To me, since giving up on definitive proof in the JFK assassination, Watergate was the first evidence of a party that said the law was not as important as defeating it's political enemies. But it was Iran-Contra that showed me that NOTHING about our country was as sacred to them; not our safety from drugs or terrorism, nor even our adversaries in the world, were as important to republicans as defeating their political enemies and obtaining power. We now have real fascism spreading to dangerous levels. Yes, even the most vile, destructive system in history is game in the war to defeat their political rivals.

In relation to the George Floyd trial what America learned is that when an an officer has an interaction with a citizen who is not following his direct orders using heightened violence may not always be the best tactic. The only choice should not be obedience or die.

I love Nance! I'm watching all his lectures on every source. But I have to correct Malcolm. 1. Russian population is about 140 mln. This is population of Java! 2. Russian economy way less, than Italian. They struggle to reach a Portugal level for decades ...but they can't. Why? Because 80% of entire income of Russia just gets stolen by the bureaucrats & oligarchs!

No one do I share more of an opinion and an interpretation of global events and history than Malcolm Nance. Considering his background, I feel my understanding reinforced. To me, since giving up on definitive proof in the JFK assassination, Watergate was the first evidence of a party that said the law was not as important as defeating it's political enemies.
But it was Iran-Contra that showed me that NOTHING about our country was as sacred to them; not our safety from drugs or terrorism, nor even our adversaries in the world, were as important to republicans as defeating their political enemies and obtaining power. We now have real fascism spreading to dangerous levels. Yes, even the most vile, destructive system in history is game in the war to defeat their political rivals.
