    Enjoy the reviews from someone other than the big brands. I’ve shot Mathews for 20 years. I’m not a fan of the current gigantic riser bows.
    Just picked up a new Darton and an Obsession. Neither are flag ship models but great hunting platforms that check all the boxes for me.

    You can map the draw curve by taking weight measurements every inch or so then plotting it on a graph. I for one would love to see that. Its a great tool for comparing draw cycles . Having a visual representation of the draw cycle is handy. I map every bow i can get my hands on.

    I've been taking note of the actual bow specs, as reported by various TH-camrs, and the Vista 31 is one of the lightest 2022 flagship bows and also one of the fastest (as measured by chronographs in archery videos).

    Great review and awesome looking bow Nate. If you start including draw-force curves, your reviews will be best anywhere. You already have all the “technology” you need… draw board, tape measure, scale, pen, and paper. Speed testing at IBO specs would be great too. I know you don’t focus on speed but it matters to a lot of folks. But I understand you may have to buy a chrono and super light arrow for that..

    Great review Mr. That bow seems dead quiet. There's a decibel sound app for the iPhone that can give a reading. I'm thinking if you had your hands on the 35" model-well Merry Christmas to yourself. Maybe I need to go find a 33" in LH and shoot one. I know you aren't into speed too much but a chronograph would be a great addition to reviews. 👍👍👍 ( as sweet as this bow reviews I'm probably gonna keep my Elite Ritual through this summer for 3-d)

    G'day from Australia, love your videos! I bought a Vista 35 to try an Athens bow out (the brand is almost unheard of down here) and wow what a great bow. I was so surprised at the smooth draw cycle and overall feel of the shot. Sold my PSE Evo NXT right away, it just didn't compare. It has also pushed my Elite Remedy to back up bow. I hope you get a chance to shoot the 35, I'm interested in your opinion. Keep the videos coming.

    Only heard of Athens bows in passing, same with Darton and a few others. Obviously they don’t currently have the marketing power and “draw” like Mathew’s, Hoyt, Prime, Bowtech, PSE and Bear do.
    Nice to become aware of an American 🇺🇸 made company like they are. I am out of the market for myself, but not my wife who would just shoot targets and possibly 3D courses for me.

      They were solid in 2020 when I shot them for the first time at the ATA show. This new RTX cam truly blows the doors off anything they were doing in the past, personally. Hello Average Jack. I was at the Hells Canyon Archers 3D bow shoot last weekend and my quiver broke. It is an older Trophy Ridge 6-arrow detachable quiver. It served me well for six years but searching the internet I cannot find that model. So, I thought I would look for another brand and thought you had probably done a video on quivers.....but sadly, couldn't find where you had done a hunting quiver comparison and evaluation. Do you have any insights/recommendations for a detachable hunting quiver? I am from out West and often are even backpacking for overnights, so a 5 or 6 detachable arrow quiver is a must. Looking forward to your response.

    • @averagejackarchery
      @averagejackarchery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't get wound up about quivers usually! But there have been some models the past few years that have looked solid, and some new offerings coming up from companies like Redline. Not many 6 arrow models made anymore, with 5 usually being the max.

    I have a 30.5" DL - would the 33 be a better option for me? I like the let-off to be around the 80% range. I like the idea of the compact frame, but I'd be concerned over let-off and also string angle.

    • @averagejackarchery
      @averagejackarchery  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually recommend to folks to go with a bow that doesn't end the cam length on their draw length. Plus, I also recommend to anyone 30" and over draw length to stick with 32-35" ATA bows for hunting. Usually lends to a more pleasant shooting experience.
