- I recorded the first taunts of the base characters in the MultiVersus roster and put my opinion of them in the video.
-Reindog: In my opinion, this one is the weakest.
-Velma: Could be used after you predict an opponent's attack.
-Superman: It has the "I'm just warming up" vibe.
-Steven: Don't know how to feel about this one to be honest.
-Jake: Dancing is allways a cool way to taunt.
-Garnet: Implies that the enemy is a villain.
-Harley: Showing her mase is scary in a way.
-Bugs: Provoques the opponent to be enraged.
-Arya: Translates to "you are boring me".
-Tas: He will eat you with no remorse.
-Finn: Has the time to dance in the battlefield instead of paying attention.
-Batman: Can't find that "something" that will get the job done.
-Tom&Jerry: They are better off fighting each other.
-Wonder Woman: Takes it very easy around the enemy.
-Shaggy: No comment, he has the best one.

Shaggy has a different idle animation with and without the shirt too. With the shirt he looks hungry and bored, but the shirtless idle is more in reference to people and characters like Bruce Lee or Liu Kang.
Shirt on = Normal Shaggy
Shirt off = Hypnotized Shaggy
Ultra shaggy
Shaggy is a stance character
Shirt: normal Shaggy

New Update: Tom & Jerry's taunt now deals 1% damage to Tom but gets healed when the taunt ends.

They did one hell of a job on giving presence to Superman, him standing and cracking his neck makes him really look like a guy who can stand up to Darkseid.

Hearing Matthew Lillard voicing Shaggy, brings both tears of joy and sadness to my eyes. For one it's still amazing he voices him but you can hear the age kinda seeping in.

I'm in love with the animation style, and everything. This game looks so damn good and from somebody who came from Smash, this is actually an awesome level of production.

I am so excited to see the interaction with the community, seeing as a fanmade concept created purely *as a joke* became reality because, well geepers... Because they *felt like it*
Edit; with rollback netcode and a team that actually interacts with and consults the community (rather than put out balance patches nerfing characters *nobody* wanted nerfed or flat out ignoring the competitive scene - looking at you, Nintendo. You left your content creators out to dry.) this could be a masterpiece for years to come. It spans generations of content so many people can relate to, and converts it to whacky, zany fun that can also be taken seriously/competitively.
I am *so* excited for this game.

Played a few games earlier and shaggy is actually a lot of fun. He has a "rage" mechanic that's basically just Ultra Instinct where it powers up all his special moves. Spiking someone off the map as Ultra Instinct shaggy then ripping his shirt off for the next stock is peak gaming

One of those things Batman pulls out of his belt HAS to be Bat Shark Repellent. I refuse to believe otherwise!

Hey maybe he’s doing other things like his music but it’s just weird cause he is definitely not the biggest name in this voice cast
it's probably because this is younger steven and zach is getting older, can't do the voice as well
As far as i know he is having a mental problems so he have break from voice acting until he gets better

What's really nuts about this game is that is has the potential to have so many characters in it. Since it has Tom and Jerry and Shaggy in it, that means we could have the Flintstones, Johnny Quest, Blue Falcon, or even Space Ghost as playable characters.
And not just there either, we could have the Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Samurai Jack, and Ben 10.
We could even potentially see Pinky and the Brain, Yako, Wacko, and Dot, Freakazoid, Scorpion, Sub Zero, or Raiden.
The fact that Warner Brothers owns so many IPs gives this game so many possible opportunities for crossovers and add-ons, is honestly impressive and scary at the same time.
I love how most of the taunts are more long term, which isn’t really super common

Fun fact, for those who didn't know: Shaggy's taunt when shirtless is a reference to what some characters from other fighting games do, like Fei Long from Street Fighter, Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat, Ralf Jones. from The King of Fighters, Marshall Law from Tekken, among others doing the thumbs to the nose gesture. And well the side steps are more a reference to Ralf Jones.
