Not quite understand Garnet's hostility to Batman. I guess she thinks of him as a rich man who heroes for a hobby...which is a bit shallow interpretation of who Bats is. That said, do love her interactions with Supes, wish it was more mutual.
I've been thinking about this too and I actually think it makes some sense. While both of them fight for the side of good, value justice, and are very experienced in both combat and tactics - Batman is brutal, cold, and isolated. His view of the law is strict and, while he may not kill, he has no qualms striking fear and harm into people who break the law. I haven't seen Steven Universe since the show ended, but I remember that Garnet has always been about love, communication, and feelings. She empathizes with people and their situations and believes everyone deserves a chance to rectify their mistakes and improve. Batman's entire thing of beating up thugs and throwing them in a padded cell if they break the law, for whatever reason, is almost completely antithetical to her style.
