100mph out the box, that's the claim made by Traxxas, well we occasionally do dumb stuff but erring on the side of caution our first run will be fast but not balls out 100mph, although we'll build to that as Ryan's had 104 out of this Traxxas supercar. We'll need to register our car before they remove the 100mph block on the car though! Anyway wish us luck!

Here is little tip about the bottom of the air duct, find your self a screening material and a fix it the inlet to prevent little pebbles from being scoped up into the chases area, it will save your gears.
Tank 62 this is such a good tip these cars fill up with pebbles so fast
I have yet to feel a different with c ratings in batteries. We aren’t flying drones here. But maybe I don’t pay good enough attention. Did you get it to 100mph?
Yes I hit 102mph. "Just make sure you have plenty of space and wide road, don't run on a road with curved sides!

Awesome car. I have one myself if your going to run it faster than the stock configuration then your going to need some weight in the front. The wind will left the front end sending it airborne. I ran mine stock and hit 51mph it just scared the lift out of me. It’s not same like modding an rc car to reach faster speeds I think it’s because of the size of the car. Imagine a car like that going extremely fast it’s scary fast. I will watching out for your running video. Excellent buy👍

Hey bud can you explain what you wrote in the description about having to register it with traxxas to remove the 100 mph block? I'm curious what that means. Thanks bud.
Chris Watson, you have to acknowledge full responsibility to unlock the car. It’s not your ordinary RC car the XO-1 is a extremely fast piece of equipment therefore you have to acknowledge full responsibility if something was to have happen like causing injury to yourself to others or property damage.
If you don't unlock it you only get about 1/2 power. Follow the directions in the owners manual, use your IPhone to scroll thru the unlocking procedures. It's not hard
I think you just might hit 89 mph first speed run and that is a fine car you bought ps. I would love to see a heads up race with the 2.0 and xo1
That's already on the cards. I just have to do a bit of work on the 4tec I've managed to strip a screw head on the gear cover thus unable to remove speed run gearing 25/23 until I sort it out which means cutting off the gear cover to get to said screw, cut slot in screw head and remove it!
My money is on the the x o all day 2.0 is slow , I do 93 too 102 in that range all day on my rj drag car xr 10 pro 3.5 t

I think 2 x 3s, you might squeeze one 6s in BUT it'd depend on the size.

I've had one now for a couple of years. You'll probably notice a tendency for the car to go all over the road under hard acceleration. That's because of sloppy steering. Mainly from the Ackerman arm flexing. I made one out of steel but there is an aluminum one on EBay. I also put in a gyro to help keep it straight. I also had to put weight up front to keep it down. It actually flew into the air and landed upside down and road rashes the body
