completely irrelevant but this was uploaded the same day that my father lost his battle with lung cancer. amity is one of my favorite bands and they help you if you're going through some shit with your life. performance is just as good as when I got to see them live earlier this year as well.
+artardFTW I feel sorry for you and hope you soon will be able to give it a place in your head/heart and get your life back on track. I totally agree with the fact that TAA is a great help in those kind of periods. I survived some myself thanks to these kind of bands.

Hope you're doing ok bro. I love them because they help you through so much, and I hate people who criticize this music because they think it's just screaming. They're just ignorant and don't know true passion, but stay strong.

Without an experienced drummer in this genre, it would never have worked. It's really common that the drummers in this gener is skilled. I'm not saying that he is avarage, i'm just pointing out the obvious :)
And for the record, he is really good :D

Seeing them for the first time in Chicago on this tour was the best night of my life. I'm watery in the eyes typing this as I face a daily struggle that their lyrics help me through, and just rematching this and reliving that escape from the thoughts and feelings is amazing. This band has done so much for me and they really do make every day worth living. Music is truly so much more than notes and words.
In this time of social distancing I’m watching this for the memories i had while being at this show it was my first show I attended in Cali I remembered going to dimples not knowing wth is dimples and buying the tickets for this show it was an amazing show and will forever be my favorite

+Damian Manigat Where did you hear it was too emotional for them to perform? I've heard a few people say that but I never found out where they heard that from... Give It All was one of Joel's favorites to perform live. They don't play it live anymore because they thought it would be disrespectful to the band Troy ripped the guitar parts from. The band said this themselves during the TEI Q&A session they had before this show in Sacramento.
It's incredibly disappointing that the song has stolen material and we won't hear it live anymore, but I think they made the right choice in retiring the song and respecting the group their former member stole stuff from. I have a lot of respect for them for this alone.

I was there!! It was actually the best night of my life, The Amity Affliction is my favorite band. I actually saw my face in the crowd because I was at the barricade. And omg the show was so amazing and I met Amity at the conversation series, and also Alex from Chelsea Grin & all of Secrets and they were all super nice. Thanks for uploading the set! :)
I was too! I actually met Secrets after the concert fuckin awesome night! And Chelsea was awesome too! Only thing that fuckin sucked was Cruel Hand! Plot In You also awesome to start!

You guys should record their set when they come to Arizona next. Everytime I've seen them here the crowd has been insane, their performance has been perfect. it'll blow this video out of the water

seriously so upset they didn't play RIP Bon in Detroit. it's my favorite amity song and they cut it out. I caught the setlist and it was even on there but crossed out. their sound guy told me Joel wasn't feeling good so it was probably cut short :/

Ok, so a couple things I wanted to point out. 1. Great video CalibreTV. Amity sounds amazing.2. I have yet to see ANY live performances of My Fathers Son. Is it like a song they just don't do???3. I hate to say this, but...... Ahren needs to do something about his voice. He doesn't sound the same anymore. Like do some vocal training. He just doesn't sound like the same Ahren in 2012 or 2014.
They have never played it live. On the Australian let the ocean take me tour they played every song off LTOTM except my fathers son.
+Senior Shatnips I feel like he's just insecure. He doesn't seem to go to much out of his range, as if he tries to keep it rather light and monotone. He doesn't want to crack or anything, it seems.

+Jacob Turner dude, their 2nd album is "Youngbloods" (2010). as you/we can see they are playing only stuff from 'Chasing Ghosts' (which is their 3rd album) and "LTOTM" (2014) that is their 4th and latest release to date. so they are not playing anything from their 2nd album (which is Youngbloods). maybe you were mistaken and referred to the 'Chasing Ghosts' as 'their 2nd album'. :)

Did anyone else notice that Ryan Burt, the drummer started F.M.L early it seemed. It seemed like Joel was caught off guard or something and he looked back in Ryans direction like what the hell bro. maybe im imagining this?
Nah I didn't start early. The click track/backing track started really fast without any lead in like usual because it had been changed so it caught Joel off gaurd. I remember it being fixed for the next show.
Ahren Stringer can actually pull off impressive guttural vocals. I'd love Amity to do a heavy as fuck song on the next album with both Joel and Ahren doing heavy vocals, that would be so fucking intense.
