Let's set aside the fact that the game's team having limited budget and time, and look at it from this perspective: Lute is the blank slate character. In Lute's story, you can do pretty much anything (aside from the character-specific stuff). Lute is a kind of prototypical "make-it-your-own" character - obviously not executed perfectly, but still.
@fonsifanatic I don't hate his abilities as much as I hate Lute himself. The other characters are all interesting in some way, he is just bland bland bland. And his victory dance is playing a banjo? LAME. Oh and nice pants with the multi colored stripes. Was there a sale at Clown-Mart?
Okay, I correct myself. This is definately stat cheating. There is no way the stats can all be perfectly symmetrical like that. Save for T260, all the characters have 999 HP, 20 LP, 200 WP, and 100 JP.
Actually, if he was cheating... wouldn't he have given his party Light Swords, or at least the sword users? Highest attack rating, and all stats +10. Methinks this guy is using a legit method.
Red>T260>Emelia>Riki>Lute Riki's would be higher but it was a bit anti-climatic and little-creative in the end (and very easy final boss compared to others). Lute's the lowest but I had fun beng free and doing whatever the fuck I wanted. (Haven't played ASSellus and Blue, I'm on it)
@robotpanda77 Not true. Secondary characters aside, Emelia will also join everyone, assuming you're on the arcane quest. I agree though, Lute is the least interesting character in the game, and has the lamest chapter.
@Twilight4391 Haha, the same thing happened to me as well! I was like, "wow, it's almost over already", then I got to the boss and I'm like, oh shit, and after the first attack, I pretty much knew I was gonna get my ass handed to me!
yeah. no disrespect to it or anything, but it would have even been more awesome if i could read it! awesome video nonetheless though, even just to look at.
goddamn, I feel old as shit lmfao, this video was from 18 years ago.
Still the BEST final boss song in Saga Frontier!
WonderBangles seem really useful in this fight, mondo uses lots of piercing attacks.

Wow this video is ancient
Lute was hiding because he is one of the new Bigwigs at Trinity.
Murder, thy name is Lute......
It's super easy to get to the final boss. Which made me laugh the first time playing this. I whopped his ass right at the start!
Lute for some reason has very LP naturally. Higher than any other human, I believe.
Yeah, same thing happened to me. The enemies were easy enough, then the first form of this guy wiped me out.
holy shit nice combo at the beginning. you must have trained like hell to get those stats

One of my favorite battles, against Mondo!
I am in despair on the rune sidequest, is there anyway to cancel the sidequest without fighting the boss?
Light Sword MAGIC isn't cheating, but you *can* cheat to make light swords actual items that you equip.
@nafis100 i thought blue's final boss was pretty easy considering blue can learn overdrive and use tower with it.
Am I the only one that hates Lute? And he is the only one who joins everybody else! "Hey, I'm Lute, let's hang out dude."

this kind of status is possable you know. just take forever to get to max hp and such.
Who is the "Guy" in 0:44?
How in the world do you pull off those 5 man combos so easy? I have gotten up to four by luck.
Actually, if he was cheating... wouldn't he have given his party Light Swords, or at least the sword users? Highest attack rating, and all stats +10. Methinks this guy is using a legit method.
wait theres more then one final boss?
Yap. I know this commentary is old but theres 7 final bosses
Not manly enough for anything less than a 999HP confrontation I see..
A year late, I know, but He's definitely stat cheating. Since when did a human character have 20 LP, hm?

Lute is better IMO
Mosperiburg sucks at riki's scenario and that destroyed the enjoyment for me
タイムリープ戦法を取った自分とはダメージ量が明らかに違いますねwwww
Lutes quest was so disappointing...extremely short
what a greta game my god

Lute: worst quest ever.
Your ass
The worst was riki
Lute is just straight leveling up and winning. Riki was the worst because of the impossible puzzles at the end lol.
nice 5 combo
dude i didnt even train lute (my character) and i still was able to defeat the big thingy lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
ラッキョみたいなメカこさえやがって!
Cheater
yeah. no disrespect to it or anything, but it would have even been more awesome if i could read it!
awesome video nonetheless though, even just to look at.
