The Singleplayer mode looks wicked, but the MP with all of the modern/futuristic weapons looks ... meh? Game set in 80s to 00s would be perfect match to me.
i think dice has killed itself and only it can bring itself back problem is, its gonna need a game to compete with it back in around 2000s there was so many amazing games for companies to compete with it but now there isn't anything at all.. each now seem the be struggling and make the same mistakes as the others. they all fail to see there fans want one thing but they are selling another... its a shame but I do have a feeling either a new company will arise or the past companies might pull there pants up
No offense, but I feel like Battlefield destroyed itself. DICE went off the rails years ago and I personally don't see them recover any time soon. Delta Force: Hawk Ops looks good though. I'll give it a try when it's out.
I have actually been playing Xdefiant a lot after playing MW3. It just play more casual and less competitive (using basic movement and not becomiing flash and gymnast to go on killstreak), although it does feel less smooth and has hit reg issues for sniper, but atleast I can snipe casually in that game without having to slide, then slide cancel or jump to press shoot without fully scoping in to get a sniper kill in extremely low TTK where other guns are like GODS. If this game play like a simplified battlefield like x defient is for COD, I believe it will have potential to grow.

xdefiant is literally dying same thing will happen to this game too… there is no such thing as a cod and battlefield killer

I really wish the multiplayer was also set in the 1990s. singeplayer looks badass, multiplayer just looks like a generic modern specialist

I mean, Battlefield destroyed itself starting from Bf 4 already. Even minecraft is more battlefield that battlefield.
I am not a big fan of operators, I prefer BF4 style soldiers. Just pick the class and build the whole loudout.

Everytime I hear of a new game that will compete with Battlefield, It's never on console. It's disappointing to say the least.
