Thanks so much for listening and your comment, Jim. It is a sweet little gourd banjo. I am very lucky to have it. And I have always loved this song. Appreciate you, Sir. Have a good Tuesday! x
Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement, Del! And I must apologise for not replying to your email regarding the new google group for the new Seasons thing. I am glad to see you all making music and staying in touch as friends. It is great! I personally am happy to comment on YT and if necessary via emails with anyone who wants to chat or share more.
Thanks so much Mr. Gildons! When I play mine, it does not sound so good to me. But, when I listen back to the recordings, it always sound better to my ears. I love this banjo. Although I still have my full length, regular one which I am still playing.
❤️this! I’m enamored with your gourd banjo! I’ve wanted one for years, but sadly it wouldn’t fair well with the extreme temp and humidity fluctuations where I live. 🫤
@@piekia I doubt it, as the skin hides need to be stretched and tacked onto the shell. Although synthetic banjo heads fair better in fluctuating climates, I much prefer the beautiful warm tone from a skin head. It’s second to none, IMO! ❤️
So nice Joo, love it all , your voice, gourd banjo sound and song ..... authentic folk music of the Far East !

Thanks Sabine! hope all is well with you. Didn't see you in the last few seasons before UU closed SOTU.
@piekia Yes, I didn't mean to take such a long break, but life was too complicated. I'm trying to get back into the swing of it though!

Thanks Jodie! It is such a beautiful piece of art isn't it? I wonder if there is a kind of gourd that do better in extreme temp fluctuations...
