But overall it was still amazing.
When logan fights DP in the void, the claws coming out is the most comic accurate thing in any comic book movie ever made. The shape of the claws, the metal housings they come out of, even the three little lines in the housings. Also this wolverine is the most powerful one, he one shotted sabretooth, and Fox's wolverine always had trouble fighting him. Part where blade tells DP he doesn't like him refers to when they both were in blade 3, and rumors were that snipes hated him. Tatum was supposed to be in the gambit movie like around 10 years ago, never got made. It's why the others said the TVA put them in the void, and he mentions how he doesn't know how he got here, because his movie was never made, there was no one for the TVA to get. So he was born in the void, as he was created for this movie. The meta, on top of meta jokes is incredible.
I just watched this movie this past weekend with my oldest brother and I loved it. I wish I gave this movie a chance and saw it in the theater, but at the time, I was sick and tired of seeing superhero movies and they kept bombing like crazy. But this one was awesome. As far as the other Deadpools go, my personal favorite out of all of them was Ladypool, hands down. She look so cool and badass. And the fact that Ryan Renyold's wife did the voice of the character makes her even more badass. She did a fantastic job delivering those lines. And now I have a crush on Ladypool. Awesome reaction guys. Hope you have a great Happy Thanksgiving.
God, is this poor girl….I mean, this is the first video of theirs that I’ve found, but…is she being held at gunpoint? Forced to do this? She looks so incredibly, _deeply_ uncomfortable and unhappy the entire time. Even when she’s dancing or singing or laughing, her eyes and eyebrows just scream “What the fuck am I _watching????”_ Girlfriend, really, blink twice if you need a rescue team. Like I legitimately have to stop watching this around the time that Deadpool finds Logan in the bar because she genuinely looks like she’s being forced or abused into doing this, and it’s making me uncomfortable.

They had plans to include Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider among the others, but Nicolas Cage pretty much turned it down. There's still rumors that Nic Cage might show up in Avengers: Secret Wars as Ghost Rider though... There's a deleted scene where Gambit makes it and there's also rumors that both he and Beast are gonna show up in Secret Wars as well. I would be open for a Blade 4, in fact Ryan Reynolds wants to do a Logan-esque story with Wesley Snipes's Blade, giving him the perfect sendoff/end. The Punisher is my favorite Marvel character and even though he got killed in this movie, I still appreciated that they mentioned him twice =) You're the 1st reactor to noticed the Mangold reference joke =)
48:46 - funny thing about that though - Emma Corrin's fingers apparently aren't that long and skinny, so they had to wear prosthetic fingers to make them look longer. So it technically is a mix of CGI and practical.

Pre-MCU Marvel (the comic book company) was going bankrupt and started to sell movie rights to some characters. Most of the time the deal was that those rights will revert back to Marvel after a number of years without making a movie with said characters. That's how they got back Blade, Daredevil, Elektra, Punisher and Ghost Rider. Fox was still making X-Men movies, as well as Fantastic Four movies, however bad they were, so Disney needed to buy the whole Fox to get that back. Sony still holds their rights to Spider-Man and is not willing to give them back, so they co-produce stuff with Marvel, that allows Sony movies to be a part of the MCU and Marvel to use Spider-Man in their own stuff like Avengers or Captain America. Sony also keeps making those Spider-Man adjacent movies like Venom, Morbius, Madam Web or soon to be released Kraven.

There's another layer to that joke (other than that Daredevil movie being regarded as bad). Ben Affleck (Daredevil) is Jennifer Garner (Elektra's) real-life ex-husband. The couple were married for ten years before getting officially divorced in 2018 (around the same timeline in which this 'Deadpool & Wolverine' movie takes place.)
It's fine...
@@reactions5783 Correct. That is what really makes it work.
The mug HAS to be a John Candy reference from Trains, Planes and Automobiles seeing as they’re both Canadian and that is one of the most famous monologues from that movie. “I like me. My wife likes me.”
The car from PTaA is seen in the void.
There are tons of references to PTA in this movie
@@chairmanofthebored6860 I was about to ask, "Why would there be PTaA references in this?" and then it immediately hit me that Deadpool is totally Del/John Candy and Wolverine is totally Neil/Steve Martin.

Beyond meta and immensely entertaining - the team up we all wanted and finally got. 2 words: baby knife. I just love how they acknowledge how WarnerBros/DC did Henry Cavill so very very dirty.
It was mostly Warner Bros WBD, not DC.
Definitely did

That Dr Strange sling ring Nova used, had a Green and Red Infinity stone on it. A lot of people online say they are just gemstones. But I've never known Strange to be big with bedazzling stuff 😂
I saw this in the theater in San Diego when ComiCon was in town. That was such a fine time. The audience was screaming, laughing and clapping at everything. :D

Great film, well crafted. Jackman and Reynolds chemistry is unreal. My favorite part being Jackman and Daphne Keen together again. Her looks at Wolvie, speaks volumes. I feel she saves Wolverine in a way here. She is older, knows Logan’s sacrifice, how impactful it is. She knows the multiverse, and knows Wolverine. When she turns and says “ you were always the wrong guy, until you weren’t” it hit me hard. She gets to him, he helps save the timeline, Deadpool’s world. Now Wolvie feels like an X man, the X man, he has a purpose.
Chris Evans was the funniest cameo, and he totally channeled his inner Dennis Leary with that end credit scene. :D
I read that Chris Evans only agreed to do the movie if he could do that monologue in the end credits.
It's Captain America....no it's the Human Torch? From the crappy Fantastic Four movie that nobody saw.

Wolverine and Sabretooth are only brothers in the movies, completely unrelated in the comics.
I remember it was common as kids to think they were even if we were wrong. Could be reaching but maybe that's where the idea comes from.
"... Well, mine is..."
Underrated quote of the year.
Finally someone else says it’s a sentinel leg!! Everyone thinks it’s hulk buster but it’s not it is a sentinel leg😊
I think that's why Wolverine had no confusion on how to operate that thing! Either killed plenty of Sentinels already, or at least practice in simulations.
weirdly, i from first time i watched this, i wondered why there was no mention that if cassandra is charles twin sister, then juggernaut is ALSO her brother. In all canon marvel worlds i have ever hearad of, cain marko aka juggernaut is at least hte half brother of charles xavier. ergo cass is chuck's twin, then therefore cass is juggernauts sister.
Seeing this in the theater in IMAX 3d was Crazy! 😱🗡️
The Sentinel leg they escaped on was the one that slammed into them when Toad activated the supermagnet.
Out of all the movies I’ve ever watched, THIS is the last one I ever expected to make me tear up at all. Very weird.
Deadpool's interview with the Avengers was originally written with not only Tony Stark being present, but Peter would've been seen in the back playing with Mjolnir (Thor's hammer) like there was nothing to it.

Everyone who sees it mentions how great his performance was.
It’s incredible like always but doesn’t top LOGAN
It's hilarious that everyone that doesn't know a damn thing about accents thinks Channing Tatum's Cajun accent is bad. 🤣
I think what's even more hilarious is that in every single reaction to this movie 90% of the comments are of people who all of a sudden are experts of Cajun accent 😂
Agree, especially since they probably think this is like oscar acting type movie. It's not the worst accent
“I don’t know who Gambit is.” 😬 Brother, please get your wife into X-Men.
5:03 it's been literal decades since I saw it, but I'm sure that's part of the actual dance number from the original Bye, Bye, Bye music video, or very close to it. The soundtrack alone should be getting awards, it doesn't hit every early-2000s nostalgia point that it could, but it hits enough of them to work. (Even the score feels like it's coming from a 2000s-2010s film somehow.)
I was unreasonably happy that they got Tyler Mane back as Sabertooth. Don't get me wrong, Liev Schreiber is a great actor and I did like his take on Sabertooth, but Tyler Mane was there first and did honestly look a lot more like the comic version of Sabertooth.
Id love if they made an older Blade. Cause remember Whistler said he ages like a human just a bit slower.
I'm very happy that Leslie Uggams; who many of us 70s teens remember as Kizzy Reynolds in the classic mini series: Roots, owned her role as Blind Al. Thank you so much. 😎👍👍
Mr & Mrs
Ryan and Shawn (director) did want RDJ and or Ben Affleck in this movie, but budget constraints prevented from it. But they contacted Nic Cage to portray his Fox's Ghost Rider as one in the group of Elektra, Blade, and Gambit. Nic declined the offer. But I wish that Nic came back as Ghost Rider one more time.
Cage is obviously making poor career decisions these days...
I'd heard that there was a brief Iron Man cameo shot, but it was cut.
@@NelsonVlog66 In the commentary, they said they planned for it but never shot it because the interview with Happy Hogan was even more perfect than using Tony Stark.
The fourth kind (2009) flies under the radar for many. It's a pretty good movie.

Only cause he was fucked over due to GI Joe
Yeah that was Taylor Kitch
Getting both wolverine and gambit in proper outfits is probably my favourite part of this movie.
Not one reactor saw it.
Wolverines greatest regret was not turning back when they X-men called him.
At the end of this movie, he turned back when called.
Healed.
As others have said, Gambit Cajun accent is pretty much on point. However, the director did request to 'ham' it up just a bit. Otherwise. Deep south Louisiana cajun accent. It's the mixing of broken French that makes it sound off to a lot people. Watch Swamp People if you want a good example.
Also, Gambit is an Omega-level mutant. One of the strongest (if not THE strongest) in the x-men universe.
It is Mr Darcy. His voice is so distinct.
1:44 Wolverine is a character that doesn't need to be de aged since he over 200yrs old he's supposed to look pretty much the same until the Logan film.
I heard something about how Ryan Reynolds wanted Nicholas Cage to make an appearance as Ghost Rider but that doing so would have cut other cameo's lines, and the fact that Ghost Rider was made by Colombia Pictures and not 20th Century Fox wouldn't have fit with what they were doing. But overall it was still amazing.
To be specific, Gambit's power is to charge objects with kinetic energy, but any explanation is good
When logan fights DP in the void, the claws coming out is the most comic accurate thing in any comic book movie ever made.
Channing as Gambit is spot on! You lady doesn’t know comics. That is Gambit’s accent.
I just watched this movie this past weekend with my oldest brother and I loved it. I wish I gave this movie a chance and saw it in the theater, but at the time, I was sick and tired of seeing superhero movies and they kept bombing like crazy. But this one was awesome. I loved spotting all the cameos. And speaking of which, Chris Evans as Johnny Storm is probably my favorite, mainly because just like you guys, I thought he was Captain America. That got me good.
Even when she’s dancing or singing or laughing, her eyes and eyebrows just scream “What the fuck am I _watching????”_
Girlfriend, really, blink twice if you need a rescue team. Like I legitimately have to stop watching this around the time that Deadpool finds Logan in the bar because she genuinely looks like she’s being forced or abused into doing this, and it’s making me uncomfortable.
Seriously? Maybe watch more of our videos before assuming asinine things. She's just dry and has resting bitch face. It's okay I can say that, I'm a feminist. Also, we watch our movies after a long day of work and putting our kids to bed. We are all a little tired at that point. Think about things logically before assuming the worst my dude.

The Punisher is my favorite Marvel character and even though he got killed in this movie, I still appreciated that they mentioned him twice =)

48:46 - funny thing about that though - Emma Corrin's fingers apparently aren't that long and skinny, so they had to wear prosthetic fingers to make them look longer. So it technically is a mix of CGI and practical.
Such a great reaction! This movie was a real gift to the fans, specially from my generation, who growed up watching all those pre-MCU movies...
Yes, that's Mr. Darcy. It's also Tom from the show Succession, which if you guys have not seen, you should absolutely check out because it's fantastic, and he's AMAZING in it.
Spider-Man 4 is scheduled to begin filming next summer. Tom Holland recently signed new contracts with Sony and Marvel Studios.
Yes, that is Mr. Darcy.
