Toyota beats it on miles per gallon but I would still take this over the Toyota because while the mileage is great the Toyota is terrible power wise. This Honda will run circles around the Toyota...ao give me the Honda...
I take a shot every time this man calls his test car a BEAST. Hahaha Gold Pony is a good guy and is nothing if not consistent. Thanks for the work you do and bring to us, Shane.
My sister has one of these, and it is awesome for a family car!! They had a Toyota Sienna, which was also great, but they really like the Honda Odyssey much better…
@@davidwestwood2457 my sister and brother in law just thought the interior was nicer and they like driving experience!!!! More responsive acceleration and tighter handling…. But the Sienna was an excellent family van !!! They just preferred the Odyssey
@@addiewinnie very cool, thanks for letting me know. We'll go test drive them at some point. I have a 2010 Honda Accord that won't die anytime soon, so maybe we'll wait for 2026 models
@@davidwestwood2457 so true!! I have had 5 Hondas 1 Prelude and 4 Honda Accords !!!! A 1995 Prelude , 2000 Accord V6 coupe , 2003 Accord V6 sedan and I currently have a 2015 Accord touring V6 … they have all been excellent cars
Wow they god rid of the cloth seats? 😮 nice interior but front looks lil dated, hope they get rid of the “lightning” on the sides, shoulda use grand HL for comparison, not the reg highlander 🙂
I love the new front fascia. I hated the old look of the headlights cutting into the grill further than the body. It always looked unnatural. It finally looks good. EDIT: I wish they would bring back normal shifters instead of buttons and levers. I guess some people develop muscle memory for this system.
How did you forget to show the flexibility of the 2nd row seats, and how the 3rd row seats can be used for tailgating? A huge miss for this review. Oh, but you did show the "camouflaged" tray in the dashboard! Woo hoo!!

May very well be the best family minivan. Thanks for a great review.
I've got a 2023 Odyssey EX-L in Obsidian Blue and I love it. Thank you for sharing.

I’m going to miss the camera on the right side mirror for safe lane changes!
I Always loved mini vans except for my wind star
That Ford was Fording
@@2004cyrusthat ford was a freaking nightmare
I wish it had AWD also wish the 2nd row folded flat, you can then use it as a camper.
Oh great idea ! I want something that I can sleep in
Second row Rear seats can be removed. Sienna 2nd row seats cannot be removed
Put some wood blocks to make a flat floor
Bought a '19 Elite. 103k miles. Same sweet engine & 10 speed auto. Runs like new. 26K.
Still needs a 360° cam and pano roof!
Wish they brought back the 2011 to 2017 Taillights.
Great review and I would love to buy this van.
No ugly grills. Perfect

I have a 2022 CRV Hybrid with them buttons. Believe me, you really get used to it quickly. I actually prefer it vs a gear lever. Looks modern as well.
Can't figure out why Honda won't add the 360 camera system. The omission is a deal-breaker for a lot of people who are used to having one
Two refreshes for same gen vehicle...very interesting. Not many automakers do this huh?
Toyota Camry
