    Hey everyone! This is a slightly older video that I recorded with the preview version of the iFly 737 MAX which I still found on my drive. I thought you might still like it, though it is three months old!
    Note that this video features the Seattle scenery by BMW/AmSim. This developer has since faced accusations (with pretty hard evidence) that they have been illegally sharing their competitions products on piracy websites. I do therefore NOT recommend anybody to purchase this developers addons anymore.

    one of my most favorite flighsim creators on YT keep up the great work! A little suggestion would be to add an external replay cam for the landing (maybe towards the end of the video). Again, love your work

    8:08 Typically in Seattle, only runway 16L(Dep and Arr) and 16R (Arr) are used as they are capable of parallel operations, while runway 16C is not

    Hello Emi! I believe you are still on the older version of the iFly max. I purchased the iFly last week and it is real release version. the verbiage on the EFB has changed and many of the anomalies have been fixed, such as the flight recorder switch...which works properly with the update. Also, GSX has been updated and now you have the wing walkers on the right and left. Maybe you have not had the time to get this updated.

    Hey Emanuel! Great video as always. I’m curious how you find the time to fly real planes along with daily flight simulator videos!

    • @A330Driver

      Thanks! I usually pick one of my OFF days and then record some 5-10 videos straight away, which I pre-upload and then release while I'm flying. I just came back from a six day trip today, so anything you saw over the past six days was pre-recorded.

    @Emanuel,
    A realistic short flight would be Doha to Bahrain or Düsseldorf to Frankfurt.
    Would be cool if you can do Doha to Bahrain.
    Please, talk more about the Notams, because often the infos are not understandable.
    Thanks.

    Been lurking around watching your videos for a while and this was a really great flight/video! I've been learning the 737 and A320 NEO in MSFS 2024. I'd love to see this flight done in the A320 NEO (inibuilds) with the flight plan that has a few DCTs. I've been using simbrief to create FLP and using AP with the DCT always confuses me

  • @ArrRoh

    Great one thanks! Why sometimes do you engage VNAV prior to takeoff, and other times you don’t (then bug up manually)?

    • @A330Driver
      @A330Driver  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      My former airline only used the manual bug up method.
      However since we're flying single pilot in the sim I sometimes "cheat" and use VNAV instead.

    • @ArrRoh
      @ArrRoh 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ thanks. When using the manual bug-up method, when would you then switch to VNAV? Once clean speed reached?

    Hi, could you maybe share your reverser control settings you use on the iFly?
    I’m using the bravo throttle (as you do afaik) with the reverser switches being set to toggle reverser axis, meaning during the flare I pull the levers to idle, activate the reverser switches and then push the levers forward again with them acting as the reverser axis.
    This works well with the fenix, the A380, 777 etc but for some reason the iFly is messy, with the main thrust levers moving while the reversers are actuated.
    Would be appreciated, thx!

    • @HERD599
      @HERD599 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I find it odd how you manage to get toggle reverse thrust for the 777. You have to use hold thrust reverser for the PMDG aircraft, and this is probably the case for the ifly as well. Give that a go, I haven't bought the ifly just yet so just give that a go otherwise try and contact ifly.

    • @davidduhme7780
      @davidduhme7780 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@HERD599 I miswrote that, I do have them set to hold already, not toggle.

    Can I ask why you don't use headphones? unless you don't want a headphone dent lol, even though you need one for flying

    • @A330Driver
      @A330Driver  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I just don't like to wear headphones all the time. I have quite a nice stereo setup here, which sounds just perfect.
      Also, when flying online or with friends, it would mean that I'd have to have everything on the same "speakers" (the headphones), while the way my setup is designed I have the aircraft and outside sounds on the speakers and ATC or my friends on my headset, so that I can focus on speech. Just like in a real plane.

    VNAV "Diving" Is absolutely same behaviour as FS9 version had. Probably same code has been used in msfs version (copy-past😂). Made in China.
