Come work at our school! No joke - you got it going on; I found this video bc I am on the New Teacher Orientation Team and was inspired by everything you provided!!! And I'm a 19-year veteran teacher; goes to show we all need to hear this. Thanks for sharing :)
Great tips! I love the “X Marks the Spot” idea. Somethings I go over with my students are what to do if someone knocks on the door, there’s a guest in the classroom, or if my classroom phone rings. Those are things a lot of teachers don’t think about until it happens. For example, if someone knocks on my door, my students can not open it unless I give them permission, even if they recognize the person. Otherwise, I open the door myself.
Awesome suggestions! I also believe it’s important to plan for these situation. Not only for routine purposes, but also for safety protocol. Thanks for sharing!
wow man, you are an exceptional person, who has transmitted such a pleasant inspiring influence to me. I am very impressed, I thank you for submitting this video. May God bless you and protect you. Amen. Ramon Calderon Cuban math Teacher at Crownpoint High School
I like the content of this so much! I was therefore very disappointed when I attempted to play it for my teachers at a BTS PD series and the music in the background was so loud, we couldn't focus on the content. I don't know why the music volume wasn't as much of an issue when watching on my laptop vs sharing it from the TV monitor in the room. Anyway - excellent content and delivery otherwise!
Thank you for sharing this routines. Love the non-verbal cues and the X spot!
