    I stopped half way and went outside with my 13yrs old and started working on these drills. He looks 10x better already. Today was his 1st game and he definitely needed more help. Just finished watching and now my swing is better too. Thx!

    Has made a huge difference for my son. Sharing your vids with my brother for his kids. Appreciate you.

    First drill I would like to see a demonstration to see if I can help my 6 years old who is dragging the bat to hit the ball and I’m getting crazy trying to fix it

      Same here! I imagine the hitter is in the batters box squared up to the plate and you toss the ball and the hitter catches with right hand mimicking a swing but catching the ball

    Thank you! My son heard a hard time not lunging toward the ball. He made contact but kept getting contact in the skinny part of the bat. Now he’s getting the sweet spot on the ball

    Good stuff. I'll incorporate these drills into our mix. Will you please demonstrate the catch drill? Not sure if I'm following it correctly.

    First drill is excellent with younger baseball players. Seems silly but helps a ton.

      Its a great for older players too. Many major league players do this drill on a regular.

    @Jermaine Curtis, at the 45 degree angle, how is that not teaching them to swing under the ball or uppercut it? Trust me I totally agree with you cause I have watched other hitter with this same swing but when teaching my kid thus today he was swinging under it

    • @JermaineCurtis55
      @JermaineCurtis55  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sounds like his hands are dropping, when he does that drill. With that said, I wouldn't recommend him use that drill. Let me see his swing but first, answer a few questions for me - > www.proscave.com/1on1coachingoptin
      ...and then send me a video of his swing at officialjermainecurtis@gmail.com

    • @redeemed804
      @redeemed804 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely will sir. I will do that this afternoon. I think he's getting better at it....He definitely was dropping his hands after I had someone else watch. Corrected that. Thank you so much. I been showing him clips of Sean Murphy and Shoehei and these guys have the same bat path...lollol...good stuff

      I was under the impression the 45 angle was with the feet? The hand motions would still be throwing your hands and arm motions don’t change-
      Tee work is so helpful & imo a must at every level- no matter the level of a player when in doubt return to the basics--

    Do you perform the catch drill with the players in their batting stance and you throw them the ball?

    I notice that you are teaching a more angled and upper-cut swing. I am curious. Why would that be better than a level straight swing?

  • @stevengalentine-mv1ut
    @stevengalentine-mv1ut ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I really like your content. However, if you don't mind a little advice.....shorten them up . Straight to the point would be better. The introduction is usually too long.
