True. Especially with this generation I've got the feeling that 3rd party cards don't get much attention in form of innovation in cooling and design. All these card look the same as the generations before (bulky, lots of platsic and metal) while nvidia managed to put a 575W TDP Card into a 2-slot-design. EVGA would have been one of the few manufacturers I exprected to put some kind of innovation and R&D to their cards.
Oh, I was surprised the keyboards were priced well. Seeing some of these other gaming brands still trying to get 2021/22 prices for their boards not realizing that the market is nowhere near that right now. A lot of really good options in that 80-150 range. Good on them for knowing the market and pricing them within it!
BTW everyone, msi has their rtx 5090 models listed on their website so you can check out hdmi, display port and dimensions etc if your interested. I myself am excited to see gpus not being nearly 4 inches thick and 14 inches long haha

they should have made the watercooling tubes come out the same side of the power plug. since you need to power the plug on the side anyway, tubes should also come out the side to optimize the space
Those giant cases look great, I never understood how someone would think a case would not fit in their room. Heck a walk closet has enough room for a bunch of those cases still in the box.
People don't have room for giant cases because they already have stuff in their rooms, not an empty space reserved for their gigantic PC. Also, in my case, my gaming PC is in my living room, so it's better to be smaller and less visible.
I want 2x HDMI so I can use both 4k/120Hz TVs without all the DP-to-HDMI adapter issues. It would be nice to have back panel shots to see which ones have that.

A few corrections: 1. The 32 inch 4K QD-OLED is an updated MPG 322URX, not the year-old MPG 321URX one, and I guess the main difference is DP 2.1 80gbps, so no longer need to rely on DSC for 4k 240hz over DP. 2. QD-OLED are not manufactured by LG but by Samsung.
I wish some of these 3+ slot cards came with a 1 or 2 slot IO bracket for those of us who do custom water cooled systems. All of the IO is on one slot so having a single slot high end card would be awesome.
Part of me wishes companies would stop with the barely over two slot stuff but then I realize if it is a full 3 slots then the fans are closer to the thing in the slot below the card so the cooling would be worse. Still hate losing more slots than needed though.
Anyone else remember gpus not having back plates and buying after market? Also all the testing people did to see if it actually reduced thermals as advertised. Am I getting old?

What I would like to see on the edge of GPU's facing the user is a display of important temperatures, i.e Hot spot temperature, VRAM, and Die temperature, instead of RGB.

What about coil whine? This will be the major deal breaker for many. For example, the 4090 Suprim Liquid has such loud coil whine, you can hear it three rooms away. The coil whine completely undermines the purpose of the silent setup of the liquid cooling solution.
Mine had coil while when I first powered it on and went away after. I play on 4K and have a titanium power supply. Supposedly the type of power supplies play a role in coil whine

While seeing the hardware is cool, I think we all want to see the real world performance results. Kinda surprised the manufacturers don't have a 5090 running a game demo loop with an FPS counter right next to the card hardware display.
I honestly feel like the partners has really stepped up the design this time around like the 4000 series so many of them was so boring and made of plastic and then there where a few that looked like something from 10 years into the future and it just seams like everyone has taken those designs for this year’s launch. You can use 3 x 8pin to the supplied connector in the box of the gpu to use on old psu, or use the new pcie connector on new psu's.

Don't forget about the power from the motherboard.
50XX cards use the updated 12V2×6 connector. If not seated properly it doesn’t draw power and it’s backward compatible.
