Jaisa aao bta rhay ho dusri baat proper flush krna hi pdega pura system cooling coil or condenssor coil. STEPS for perfect flaring
1. cut tube properly
2. debur its end
3. Put nut first because if u do first flare and then try to enter nut from other side it will create problem as tube is long
4. tube should be h/3 up the chamfer where h=ht of chamfer
on tool
5. Open wing nut. place tube in proper dia hole tighten wing nut. Keep some tube above flare bar as discussed in point 4.
6. Oil yoke tip, clamp it on bar and do flaring
7. Sometimes flare portion is annealed (heated red by brazing torch & cooled in air) to remove stress due to strain hardening.
8. Apply teflon tape to prevent leakage from thread. Hand tighten flare nut on union coupling then use fixed spanner
.
9. Don't use adjustable spanner on brass nut as spanner being harder will round off nut edges.
10. Defects types-larger flare, shorter flare, uneven flare,cracked flare, burred flare

Excellent video and excellent explanation. unfortunately local technicians never do this because either they dont know the theory behind doing this or they simply dont bother due to over confidence. I want to add one thing. Better to use flaring nut spanner becouse it distributes pressure equally on maximum sides so that there is minimum chance of breaking the nuts, especially the smaller ones.
