You're not alone dude, I wish hyper x released SFF keyboards and TKLs more often (and get them on mass production so Argentina gets a proper taste of compact keyboards)
I forgot to mention that the only compact keyboards we get (massively and for cheap) are from Redragon, RoyalKludge and some other random Chinese brands... I dream of the day that Ducky, Leopold, Anne, Qisan and other *reputable* brands manage to get official vendors over here

Eber could you make a review of your varmilo? It seems like it's a great keyboard and i've heard that they also factory mod them which i'm very curious about! Pls consider doing so!
They really need to start including sane programmability on these 60% boards. Like, most manufacturers miss the point of a small keyboard - that you get the keys closer to your fingers. Instead they just take them away from you. No delete? I hold Space and tap Backspace. Arrowkeys? Space + I, J, K and L. Etc. Significantly improves my workflow. Only times I miss dedicated keys is when I'm like laid back and watching a movie and have to press like Right once per hour.
I LOVE DUCKY PARTNERING WITH OTHER MANUFACTURERS! THE DUCKY MIYA PRO IS SO AWESOME! I LOVE THIS BRAND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR INTRODUCING ME TO DUCKY! I may have gotten a little over-excited... But yeah, ducky is super cool...
No f*cking way am I paying over $100 for two thirds of a plastic keyboard. Ridiculous. The keyboard market has gotten out of control and people just accept it because "it used to be a niche, collector market"?? It's not niche anymore. Get over yourselves.
This reminds me of when Ford and GM put their differences aside and developed the 10 speed automatic transmission the first automatic that is faster than a manual 6 speed in a quarter mile.
Is the white balance in the video a bit off? The "glossy red" looked extremely orange in several shots. Not a big deal, just found it curious. I have a tenkeyless as my primary keyboard right now, but have never tried a 60%. I even miss my numpad every now and then, but I think the thing that would really bug me is the lack of directional arrows for rapidly cycling through text when typing. If I make a typo I will really frequently ctrl+left arrow or ctrl+shift+arrows to move to text and highlight text for rapid editing. It's muscle memory, I do it a lot. It looks like the arrow keys are mapped to this keyboard on JIKL, presumably as a function key alternate. I guess you could use your pinky to hold down the function key and still keep the rest of your fingers on the home keys. That's not terrible, though it would take a lot of getting used to. I enjoy having freed up some desk space with the switch down a tenkeyless, but the space saved getting to 60% just doesn't seem worth it to me.
It's honestly worth it to bite the bullet and learn how to use a second layer for those arrows, delete, insert, etc. keys. I've found a productivity increase because I don't have to move my right hand to hit those keys anymore and using a TKL or anything bigger is more of a hassle now.
I have two Ducky One 2 SF keyboards with Cherry Brown switches. I use one with my work PC and one for my home PC. I think they are the best keyboards I've ever used, in both feel and sound.
Yeah I get reviewing lesser known keyboards that have good features for the price or do something new but I really couldn't care less about the million slightly different flavors of cookie cutter mechanical keyboards on a standard height deck. I mean yeah, I get it. You put salmon switches on the enter key so it's a new keyboard. If I was that into it I'd build my own. I really just want more innovation on the low profile and wireless side of the house. It used to be "either/or" with features like tkl, wireless, mechanical, low profile, etc. You couldn't get all of that in a single keyboard or various combinations thereof until a few years ago. A keyboard like this you could have bought or put together any time in the last ~15 years.
The SF is the perfect keyboard if we are talking about compact size. The arrow keys and the extra other keys made it a lot better than 60%. which also does not add much to the size compare to TKL.
Even though this is a collab between hyperx and ducky, ducky can still use Razer synapse 3 for software support. Its not the best since you cant do color layers but it nice to have the keyboard integrated with games such as Apex, Overwatch, etc.
There are a lot of people who don't care about a lot of keys and wants their keyboard to take up as little space as possible. Personally I prefer TKL or 75% but many others like small keyboards.
@LetsGoChamp arrow keys is pretty useful for lot of situations, lacking number pad might not be as important, but 60% keyboard doesnt have the command row as well, that f1 to f12 function row, and no home, del, page up and down, its just missing to many features that being mapped to second or third layer, which is too inconvenient
@@gerardogutierrez9591 yeah, but the trend has changed, normal people start to chasing these "fasion" of technology and completely ingore the inconvenient of lacking so many functions thats being mapped to another layer

Can someone explain switches to me? Like I know what they are but how much of a difference do different switches make? And what are the best switches for gaming and why? My board has Cherry reds and I’ve never tried any others before. Curious what I should get in my next board
After all these review of small form keyboard I would love to get one. But whats the best recommendation for one that is the quietest mechanical ducky? Or do I really need to further customise it to be more acceptably silent to type during midnight?
I’m not sure, but for me I really think there is no reason to buy a 60% unless you have to travel a lot. I mean, maybe it’s just because I play a shit ton of gta and tf2, but those extra keys can be really useful.
I'm quite frustrated that the market continues to work on the smaller form factor keyboards but ignores the low profile market. I would love to have something I can take around with me in a laptop bag with a small footprint, and while the 60% and TKL keyboards fit half of that goal, its just not all of it. And definitely more than one of the low profile keyboards out there feature some form of shoddy bluetooth, which makes things way worse and more frustrating. I guess I'm just hoping CoolerMaster eventually fixes their SK series of keyboards and releases their new, fixed series they showed of at CES(?) a long time ago...
If they made it with the acqua tactile switches i would actually be interested. The linear ones seems like one more lineal switch, but the acqua seems interesting comparing to other clicky switches
