I don’t know about hugs but Geoff could sing lullabies for hours and I would be happy. Love that voice. Love all the guys but I’m a sucker for the deep voices.

One of my greatest memories: I was on a field trip and I was sitting alone. I had started to cry and the boy in front of me heard. He started to sing this song. There was utter chaos everwhere else on the bus as people talked or danced. His voice singing this song was what brought me back up. It was what stood out. I love this group with all my heart because of all of the spirit they put into their work. It is a beautiful thing, how much they care about this. They dont know the effect they are having

We need to talk about VoicePlay's incredible arrangements for a second. I feel like too many professional groups nowadays are all doing very similar things and I find myself scrolling past a lot of them when they pop up because I know what to expect. But whenever I see that a new VoicePlay vid is up, I click immediately because I know that I will be surprised and impressed every single time. They are so creative and it definitely does not go unnoticed to this fellow a cappella arranger.

Ikr! It's always like that! Usually it's like 90% about Geoff and 10% about other guys... Every f**king time! Even when the lead part is amazingly sung by other member in comments people talking only about Geoff's bass/low notes!!! This is so annoying😡😡😡 It's not like I hate him or something, i think he is truly a grate bass! But every time I see it I feel so bad for other guys T_T We need to appreciate every member equally!

Yes, and that echo by Earl right after, "saw you laughing" that's the part of this song where my eyes tear up. As with many VoicePlay covers, I like this version better than the original. (Before I heard of them I never liked covers)

Wow, in all the years since the original came out, I don't think I've ever heard this distinct a new arrangement of True Colors! A lot of times it's hard to have an unbiased reaction to something that deviates so much from the form of a childhood favorite, but I have to say, this version is stirringly beautiful. I love how each of you got the chance to shine as a distinct voice and blended in different combinations with the others, and of course, as I'm sure many others will have commented by now, I was delighted to have this chance to hear Layne's singing voice.

I was waiting for them to start with the background music/instruments (you know what I mean), but its so amazing that they didnt and just kept it almost empty as it made their voices even more angellic, with the harmonies filling the entire arrangement.
Chills in the first 5 seconds, fighting back tears by 16 seconds. Layne's mood at 3:19 is my whole mood during this song! ❤️❤️ So happy to hear more of Layne's amazing singing voice. This arrangement was heavenly and very emotionally moving!

I so love when the smaller a capella goes five ways. The blending is so much more colourful. Don't get me wrong, beat-boxing is great and completes the mix, but when the song is slow and meaningful, it's like fireworks in my mind. To be honest, in a song like this and the way you have arranged it, the bass is all the beat I need. Magnificent. (I might even join Dana and hug Layne myself)!!!!

First time hearing this, so beautiful. I especially enjoyed where each member seemed to be overcome by the song and sat quietly for a moment before rejoining. I know that it was mostly just how the music was arranged, but the facial expressions and body postures really gave me that sense of them just needing to take a moment. Gorgeous.

Not really a high note, but it sounded impressive because despite this song being a more calm, serene song, Geoff was able to casually put in the transition to still sound smooth and add a nice layer of color on the sound
