I have number 81 of the Atlantean sword. Great sword, but heavy as hell. It would take Conan to wield it properly, or his movie counterpart Arnold. ;)
Ordered my Destroyer Atlantean last December. Still waiting for it. I'll have number 120 once I finally get it. I knew there was a year wait list but to me it was totally worth it.

@@Erik1970Viking I'm sure I will. I've wanted this sword since I was 7 years old when I first saw the movie back in the '80s. I'm 48 now so it's only taking me 40 plus years to get one LOL but I definitely decided to buy it from Albion because at least I know it'll be top-notch, combat capable and a piece I can leave to my own son when I pass. Super excited to get it. Everyone loves the original from the first movie but for some reason I like the one from the second movie just a little bit more and I have yet to see any videos about that particular version. So maybe I'll do my own LOL
@@treadstone1138 Hi Buddy, wow, that would be awesome if you could take a video clip of your Destroyer ... i agree that there are not many info on the Destroyer out there.. such an awesome sword. Since it is slightly longer than the Atlantean, it is probably very nice to wield.
@@Erik1970Viking after speaking to Mikey from Albion, he assured me that it is. Also with the handle being 1 in longer I think it gives it more leverage as well. I've been doing tameshigri for quite some time now so I definitely am going to cut with it.

Hi Erik, I just received the Bronze Scabbard Fittings. I made a very short video showing only the fittings on my sword.
I'm getting ready to build the Scabbard. Already have the perfect fur picked out. Just need to find leather straps to wrap and tie to the fur.
Take a look. I think maybe you will like.
I'm trying to get as close as I can to the entire movie prop.
Using a Silver Marto Conan Atlantean. Only until I get the Albion Version like yours.
Would greatly appreciate your input.
I was going to go with the Lambskin Fur. But it's too dark and too thick. So I will be going with the coyote fur instead. It's hard to match the exact color of the Coyote fur.

Very nice video! I hope to buy an Atlantean from Albion soon though its a shame Jody isn't around anymore to sharpen it. Is it true that you must constantly oil the sword in order to prevent it from rusting?
Yes it is carbon steel, it's not stainless. You only need to put a light coat, and wipe it off and re-coat every several weeks if you don't use it.
thanks for great video love that sword wish i could afford one i have a windlass version which is far better than that cheap chinese one dont use the chinese one for swinging about it will break on you and could hurt some one stainless steel no good for swords if you must train with one get the windlass version they are full tang and carbon steel so can be sharpend and used to cut with anyway enjoy your albion atlantean (btw the pommel on atlantean depicts a funeral boat hence the skull and the mountain where the ore was found to make the sword ) cheers kingy

hi friend the meaning of the pummel could be also a portrayal of the death of the king atlantis and how he is sent to the heavens the same way nordic mithology portrays they burn the bodies of the deceased key figures and send them on a burning little barge to sail away to the figurative heavens i have seen this in vikings tv show and in game of thones just saying

Beautiful sword, much nicer than the Marto version.
How MUCH was it and WHAT is the actual site to ORDER one of my own and do they STILL sell one?
How do you rate it more than Marto. I am torn between Windlass and Marto, Windlass has better steel but the Marto has correct rune etching, the Windlass has laser etching, real give away if alongside the Albion.

Hi Thor, also, von Marto hatte ich bislang noch kein Schwert .. ich habe in diversen Foren gelesen, dass beim Marto die Gravuren an der Parierstange usw. wohl sehr schön gemacht sind.. jedoch ist der Klingenstahl angeblich kein Kohlenstoff-Stahl, sondern eher ein rostträger 420 oder 440 Stahl. Insofern wäre das Marto wohl ein tolles Deko Schwert, aber nicht zum Schneiden ... Beste Grüße, Erik

I really hope you STOP swinging that cheap chinese wallhanger around and definitely do NOT try cutting with it !
It is not a sword, it is a "Sword Like Object" (SLO). Its cheap materials unsuitable for a functional sword, cheaply made and constructed in a way that is DANGEROUS to use as a real sword !
If you dont believe me then go ahead and search youtube for vids about testing movie swords and destructive testing wallhangers. They are very dangerous to the user and anyone around because they break easily.
That's not a cheap wall-hanger, that's the Albion Armorers version. This is the best out there as Jody Samson himself was involved directly. These are over $3,ooo.
