Whedon was already in production team so that's that.The main problem is WB got greedy and wanted to do something that took like 7 years for marvel to set up in 3 years I think. It made Snyder impossible to make a moving to finish within 2hours without fucking up the story telling..so he made a 3 or 4 hour long movie which is impractical for WB to show in movie theatre.so when Snyder left Whedon was given a 4 hr long movie to make it half the size with reshoots.So he did what he could and added lost of useless stupid jokes and completely fucked the movie up.end of story.

Yea leave in the flash's actual jokes but don't make him a socially awkward loser. Stuff like running around the bat cave and the mustache are good. But the lines about how he doesn't "get people" are pretty dumb. The brunch thing is a decent running gag but the intro didn't make any sense. Maybe have him say it as a quip while beating up some bad guys.

Ever since man of steel, I thought the dceu was going to more of an epic take on heroes. Giving you goosebumps and chills seeing these amazing fights, 2 superpowered beings staring eachother down just before their epic battle, putting on their suits and just sending out this crazy vibe that I can't even describe. Both man of steel and BvS had this. Then that was all just gone in justice league. I am so happy they are releasing this and I hope it lives up to its previous installments.

I loved Snyder cut. Instead of pursuing the jokes like marvel, DC should own their dark nature.

A "new" movie that already had a legion of fans even before it was announced. A new movie for their new digital platform that doesn't require any shooting schedule in these coronavirus times. It's a total win-win for them to re-use Justice League to promote HBO Max.

But the lines about how he doesn't "get people" are pretty dumb. The brunch thing is a decent running gag but the intro didn't make any sense. Ever since man of steel, I thought the dceu was going to more of an epic take on heroes. Giving you goosebumps and chills seeing these amazing fights, 2 superpowered beings staring eachother down just before their epic battle, putting on their suits and just sending out this crazy vibe that I can't even describe. Both man of steel and BvS had this. Then that was all just gone in justice league. I am so happy they are releasing this and I hope it lives up to its previous installments.

What I love about Snyder’s directing I that his movies are appreciating assets. With each year they become more likeable and watchable. They offer so much more to the viewer than pleasant watching.

@@pats3212 actually the only problem about that scene was that Henry Cavill looked like used a brick to extinguish the fire of his mustache. The whole "what Earth means to you" is definitely something that would fit a Snyder project. I mean, he is the creator of the Lex Luthor bs arc during the previous movie, so I don't know what people complain about that scene other than CGI.

And most of Super mans lines in the movie needed to be changed. Only problem I had with Superman in the Snyder cut was he was too edgy, could have toned that down a little.

The Aliens Stole My Husband news story is a great representation for how different Whedon is to Snyder. In MoS and BvS, the news is taken seriously as the real world reacts to Superman, aliens and such. Here, it's a stupid joke that the news anchor doesn't even take seriously.
