Games like these make you wonder what the AAA development studios are actually doing. They have all those people and money but crank out incomplete trash a lot of the time. Then you have this masterpiece in the making with a lower budget and smaller team showing what true passion is about. Great work!
This, along with Hifi Rush, NSR and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is making me so happy. We haven’t had a surge of music based games in such a long time, and I live for it.
A damn shame that people don't know how to praise a game on its own merits and can only find it in them to compare it to other games, even if those games are good. This game looks phenomenal. The tag system for combo extensions if very evocative of tag based fighting games and no doubt will allow for a great variety of player expression. The style meter isn't anything new, but it adds an amount of replayability to character action games by motivating the player to get better with a quantifiable way of measuring that progress. The voice acting is super fun, and I can't wait to see more from the characters' individual personalities. GenoKids is very exciting, and I can't wait to play it.
